Since he is a pathological narcissist (Ph.D. here), he will never resign. The next election, determined by statute, is Oct. 20, 2025 - although the Liberals have tabled a motion to amend the Elections Act to allow all the shenanigans that plague American elections, AND bump the election date a week, so the Lib and pseudo-socialist NDP MPs who got elected in 2019 will qualify for their pensions. Years ago when people asked me about my accent and I told them so am Israeli, they were rather enthusiastic about it. Do you think so can go now and say the same? face the lying, hypocrites terrorists and terrorist-supporters everywhere in England? Nah. I am an IDF veteran and did not learn to be afraid. I was around during the miners' strike, and, as a then Labour party activist, i helped collect donations for them here in London, so I understand your bitterness. But really it is misplaced as regards Thatcher. She has been sold by the Left as an evil old harridan, responsible for destroying the mining industry in Britain. The truth, however, is rather different. It is a fact that the Labour Party actually closed down more pits than the Thatcher ever did. Further, the miners Union were represented by Scargill, a man more interested In securing the 'glory' of bringing down a Tory government than with the best interests of miners. His intransigence, a determination to win at all costs, even in the face of those miners, desperate to start earning again, who wanted a settlement, ensured it ended as it did, with tragic consequences for the men involved. All except Scargill, who went on to retire on a very nice pension, his estimated worth being around 5 million today. I was and am desperately sorry for those involved, many of whom never recovered from the loss of their industry. But like it of not, Britain prior to Thatcher was on its knees, its economy at rock bottom, with widespread strikes across many industries having crippled the country. We were contemptuously referred to as the sick man of Europe. It was Thatcher, often using tactics I for one did not approve of, who restored this nation to health, turning around our economy, and giving us back a sense of national pride. Sadly today, all the main parties seem determined to break our country, exterminate any sense of pride in our nation, its history, and its indigenous population. We are being systematically destroyed from within. If only we had another Thatcher ready to come to our rescue.
