Interesting that Eddie Redmayne felt the need to apologise for playing a transgender person whilst not being trans himself. Last time I looked, he also does not have Motor Neurone Disease but he has not felt the need to apologise for portraying Stephen Hawking.

Why should they? ;-) There is the Paralympics and no one bats an eyelid at making some people out to be "different"...because guess what!! So lets just have a Trans olympics...after all, they themselves say they are in a different body to the one which they belive they should be in .
@johncarruthers94672 жыл бұрын
@@jamesjoseph7508 agreed trans Olympics is the way ahead. Have the Olympics, then the Paralympics followed by the trans Olympics. Or you could do it in reverse? I like it everybody gets to compete in the category they want to... What if though a heavyweight boxer identifies as a lightweight and wants to batter a smaller person and win a medal? Could I identify as a carrot and be Olympic champion in every event in the carrot category? I like where this is going I could be a sport star without training!!

There is a simple answer to parole board, bureaucratic and political decisions in allowing real potential threats to the public. Make them responsible under British Law, for corporate manslaughter, as in the private sector.

But always- do not forget this, Winston- always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.”_ ― George Orwell, 1984

Medical Fascism is already here folks - ask the 60,000 carers who had to lose their jobs. And hardly a peep from anyone. They chose carers first because it's predominantly women who rarely belong to Unions. But it's just the beginning.
@jamesjoseph75082 жыл бұрын
Carers first duty is to the person they are caring for. I sure they get a flu jab as mostly they could be dealing with vulnerable people. It isnt a magical cure but it is the decent thing to do. And pre-flu jab I am also sure most carers would not want to be dealing with vulnerable people if they had a bad cold for fear of spreading germs. Just get the 10 second jab....you owe it to the people you are looking after. Thankfully the vast majority do.
@debbilecornu88962 жыл бұрын
James joseph, anyone who thinks it is acceptable to force people to take a jab they don't want ,should look after their own loved ones.
@jamesjoseph75082 жыл бұрын
@@debbilecornu8896 This has to be the weakest strawman argument ever. Stop deflecting because you do not have a coherent response. I was referring to carers. There is a clue in the name. They are there to care. They were not forced..they chose this profession. So how on earth can they truly care if in the middle of a pandemic, they are willing to attend to vulnerable people while they themselves are not fully protected.? Fine..if THEY dont want to take a jag then do another job. Would you like your family members to be treated by someone who isn't vaccinated? Would you go to a restaurant in which no staff, from chef to dishwasher, had not even as much as their basic food hygiene certificates? Go on a plane with a pilot who wasnt fully trained? And I will save you some time here.... "Thats different, this is about putting something into the body".. ...IS A RED HERRING In ANY job where safety is involved, be it the mechanic repairing our car or the electrician re-wiring our home, anyone rational will choose the safest reliable person. And the most safest, reliable people to care for our vulnerable loved ones are VACCINATED carers. To believe otherwise just defies commonsense.

That's it. We are worth nothing politically. And until a single issue political party exists and gives the people of Britain the right to vote on the final says in Westminster and grants us future referendums to create Westminster policy then we have no say in anything.
