I am returning to working tomorrow after years of dealing with an illness that took me out of any normal daily living. I’m scared and feel very out of control. I think working on planning for the things I need to do may help me reintegrate and hopefully feel less panic. Plus I love lists and stickers☺️. I had no clue where to begin (I’m watching this at 3:30 am) and here I found a woman who has turned planning into an extreme sport! I will admit when I first saw that this video was almost an hour long, I said to myself, "I am not about to watch an hour long video; I have things I need to do"; but dangit if I didn't sit here and watch this entire video and enjoy every minute of it. Sometimes i will skip longer videos due to time constraints ESPECIALLY if there's 30 ads in an hour long video! But then the hour long videos are PERFECT for when doing the dishes & kitchen cleaning. Btw Quita .. you only had a few ads which i appreciate so much that i let them all play thru.

This was SUPER helpful! I love the idea of transferring monthly to do items from a list to specific days on the monthly to complete them. I'm definitely going to incorporate that into my system.

I like your setup. You've got decorations going on but at the same time, it's very productive and organized. I'd rather see a cute planner that is being utilized in a productive way than someone just putting colorful stickers all over and spending more time decorating than planning. New subby!

It is so helpful to see your system all in one place instead of segmented, I get too distracted by the videos in the sidebar and then forget what I like from each video. Your system is so thorough, I want to try to increase my commitment to being a better planner to create more sanity. AtHomeWithQuita believe it or not you inspired me today to get my planner shelves as well as my whole crafting area more organized because I had stuff everywhere in my craft area and on my 3rd floor to and I couldn’t regularly plan or craft like I wanted to because nothing was organized. I’m a lover of many crafts such as sewing, machine embroidery, painting, crochet and knitting, jewelry making, loom knitting, planner stickers with my cricut and cameo, candle making, wax melts, etc I do it all. Btw I make candles that look almost like real fruit pies. Check out Lynne’s Candle Bakery on Facebook I have pictures there. I’d love to collab with you but my channel is just seven hundred and something so I’m still rather small. Sorry I’m so long winded lol

Small changes over time, specially when starting to plan is very beneficial. I have been planning for several decades, so am a bit more adaptable to large changes. Yet they can still cause me issues if not well thought out first.

I love the recipe planner with pages you can pull out and put in your weekly planner. What a simple but effective idea. That’s easy enough and the kind of process I will adopt. Did you create it a bit at a time as you menu planned? I think that’s the way I’ll do it so I won’t have to stress out about it. Thanks for sharing your process.

My mind is blown!!! I am just flabbergasted that I havent thought of organizing like this. Our Abba is the Divine Arranger and knows just what we need and when we need it in our lives!!! My hubby leaves in 2 days to go to Japan for a year unaccompanied (our youngest is 20, but has special needs that preclude her from being stationed overseas, and my 21 is still in college and at home), and this is exactly what I needed to start this coming year to get organized and on-track for when my sweetie comes home next Sept. Guess I will be binging all your vids the next few days!! And I can't wait to watch a vid with Addison...I just wanna squeeze her darling cheeks!!!!!

Omg this video is planner gold 😍😍😍 I've been bullet journalling for almost a year now butI just got a bunch big happy planner haul. I find I struggle with motivation and planning helps me make plans and stick to them. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to continue using the book I've been using for bullet journalling and my big planner! After watching this, I'm getting lots of ideas as how to use my happy planner stuff! Still figuring out where my L1917 is gonna fit into the picture but I'll manage 😋

Hello Quita, It is hard to put in words the levell of comfort and calm you have just blessed me with thanks to this video.. Planning is a skill that should be taught, not all of us are naturals.. Binge watching your videos and really enjoying it. You inspire me. So funny when you said "I get other things done too". Not having your nose in the planner is important. When my 6 kids were younger and I had the 6 foster kids, I used a planner , but the only decorations were color dots as each kid was a certain color and my planner was awesome. I think I had a zipped Franklin Covey that got so FAT, it became a huge catch all. LOL Enjoying your videos, TFS.

Hi, I have been planning in my a5 planner from paperchase for a couple of years but not properly. Started looking for another option and found The Happy Planner, totally awesome. So in the last month since finding a cheap one one ebay, I now have two classic and one big. I have seen you have a few planners on the go at once, have you a video showing how you manage bewtween them. Or a video showing each one's purpose? I’m fairly new to planning. I LOVED watching your video and getting some idea of where to begin. I had one question. I didn’t see an affiliate link to those little checkbox sheets you put in your daily plans. I’m a check box queen, and would love to stick something like that (that fits in the boxes) in my planner. You’ve probably posted it somewhere on your channel. I just don’t know where to look. 😂
