Dori! Thanks for the tip about GPX Viewer. I normally use Google Earth offline but it's stopped working. GPX is free, takes a GPX or KMZ file, and works offline. What is there not to like 👌Rights!

Also check out FarOut app. I use it all the time now. You have to pay, but it is honestly worth it. Very accurate with distances etc

Thanks for the decent overview. I purchased guthook on your recommendation. *Note: The AUSNZ Map bundle currently costs $75 and doesn't include Te Araroa.
