The new 2024 model year has many improvements, but it doesn't solve everything that bothered us about the previous model years. If you are considering switching to the new model year, I have some helpful information for you.

I ordered my Enyaq last November, and now expect to get it in September. The wait is agonising!! Phil. IOW.

Upgrading from a 2021 Enyaq 80 to a 2024 RS Coupe, can't wait for it to arive 😍

I bought my Enyaq only a couple of months before the update- I was quite disappointed initially but when I look at why I decided on the car it still does everything I need - Charging is okay without preheat regularly getting more than 100 kW so charge times are okay - Still great range and comfort - With the models changing so fast now you can’t really afford to keep chasing the latest model

Totally agree with all of this. Just swapped my 2021 Enyaq 60 for an 85 Edition Coupe today! For me it was the pre heating as in Scottish winter weather the old one struggled with rapid charging. I will miss the HUD which I had on my old car though. The new one (6 months old actually) doesn't have it sadly but it was a good deal I was offered.

For me preheating is very useful in my 1200 km trips during the winter, it makes a difference living in Switzerland and traveling north

I have an Enyaq iV80 from 10-2021. This one had quite some issues with travel assist, especially after the update at the dealership to ME3.0. Before the update it was very sensitive on warning for hands on the steering wheel. After the update is was slightly better but travel assist was stopped regularly unexpectedly. I went back to the dealer where they updated the camera software module. After this I have no issues and having same experience as you that the sensitiveness of the steering wheel hand detection is speed dependent. My car has been updated this week at the dealer to ME3.5 (and directly after via OTA to 3.7). When receiving the car back from the dealer it was showing 3.5, which I commented to them and they replied this was just error and should be resolved via next OTA (stating that actual 3.7 was installed). Anyhow, when arriving at home a new OTA was showing and after installing it was indeed showing 3.7. From ME3.0 I do not have really a lot of bugs as before. As 3.7 is just installed I do not have long term experience yet from this version. End of 2025 my leasecontract will end and I will surely consider the new Enyaq at that time among the new Cupra Tavescan. Tesla Model Y may be an option after facelift (current model the best for software but not for hardware/building quality although much improved in the new Model 3). My current concerns with the Enyaq: planned charging is still not reliant (therefor I use external app Jedlix for this), the looks of the built-in navigation is very poor (I prefer Carplay), Preheating is nice but I am only using in winter holiday (preheating the battery at your homecharger would help as well which is useful every day, currently only climate pre-heating and overheating of the puddle light Skoda logo (replaced already 2 times)). So basically not so much to complain and mainly FOMO related indeed :)

We switch to an ID.7, better specs and more or less the same price in the Netherlands as the 85.

I have a -21 80 and no problem with travel assist using one or two hands in the lower part of the steering wheel. I do not have to hold tight or pull the steering wheel either.

You mention that Enyaq has major or minor changes every 6 months. Which month will the next change be? Any idea what might be added, or removed? Presumably autumn change will be last before 2025 major upgrade.

Steering wheel hand recognition is probably the biggest issue that I have with the car. On longer trips, I like to keep my left hand on nine a clock position. Unfortunately this is not good enough for Skoda and I do get those alarms all the time. Maybe its something that I´ll get use to or they will improve it in time.

I am still waiting on the amazing features of the brochure of the Enyaq that were marked with a * and available in the future like: Overtaking assist Evasive driving support on urban scenarios And the remote parking using the app on the phone Driving a 80x on loan until my 85 L&K arrives next month if everything goes well

Hi everyone. Having driven an 85x hire car for 1000km on holiday this year I am going to order a vRS as a business lease car. Does anyone know when the 2025 face-lift version will be available to order in the UK?

I have ordered 85x L&K in Germany to switch from my ID5 GTX. Is is coming in October, but now I would rather wait for 2025 model. Probably will put 85x on the market for someone ,who needs a new car faster.

Vehicle to grid or to home currently needs one of only two chargers available so it's probably no loss yet not having it enabled but it will be annoying in a couple of years as a 77kWh battery would be very useful in our new house for cheap night time charging and daytime power supply when electricity is more expensive until we can afford to fit a solar PV system at our new house! PS - the ISA is going to be ^"$%&^&. Every single car I've driven in the last 10 years has had really really really bad speed sign recognition and speed databases - not so bad if it's too low but regularly it tells me the speed limit is higher (sometimes 50kph or more) than it actually is. This is very bad for both this system and even worse when you think this is the first stage of full automated driving and smart cruise control assist systems - 50kph is the difference between a survivable crash and one that makes death much more likely for both occupants and pedestrians. Even specialists in the industry are saying this but the laws and the computer types are pushing on anyway. The Demolition Man style nanny cars are a long way from being ready here in the real world - even before you consider the sheer volume of non-standard road side signs there are across the EU and here in the UK. Rant over :)

I would love a similar video but for the Skoda Kodiaq PHEV. Not much available online, although it will be a few months until customers start receiving it.
