why wuoldnt you start propogation in water? what if we're talking hydroponics, water propogetion has its benetits?

If you buy a boquet of roses from the florist and put them in water for two weeks, do the cuttings produce roots? I'm guessing that's why we don't propagate in water.

@@lizjoe21750 no, but there are a lot of plants you could definitely propagate in water if there’s a node present!
