omg i LOVED the nancy drew computer games back in the day! nancy going "it's locked!" is etched into my brain forever. the scariest one to me was message in a haunted mansion (i think?), my anxious self struggled with that one.
@PlantBasedBride6 ай бұрын
Omg you just unlocked a memory 😂 I can hear her voice saying “it’s locked” now, too! Mine started in an old theatre, I think? And there was a clue on the balcony and I couldn’t figure out how to get to it without Nancy falling to her death and the sound effects of her landing gave me nightmares so I stopped playing 😂

While esthetically I think the September spread is the one I find more « perfect », the July one is the one that is more impactful to me? Maybe the combo of vacation/travel subject and the bold colours grab me in the feel😁and get me to daydream/escape more and I love to daydream of beautiful destinations

Not sure if you want to use those blank pages, but I love including a scrapbook of things I’ve done throughout the year for some of my pages so when I go back to the journal I can see everything i did that year. Since you traveled for example it might be fun to include photos/reflections/etc in those pages!

5:27 I don't have any hints to cut it closer, but this will make it less noticable. Glue all the little cut ends together. Then glue them to one side (which ever side they are more likely to fall). Then camouflage them with matching paint. The bump will still be there, but will be less noticable. Truth is, you don't want to cut so close to remove those ends and weaken the binding of your notebook. 💖🌞🌵😷

I’ll try this, thank you! Yeah my struggle is keeping the binding intact while cutting as close as possible ❤️

LOVE THE NANCY DREW GAMES! Yes, there is another coming out - Mystery of the Seven Keys. We're still waiting on a trailer and release date. I'm hoping it will be soon - they started putting out a bunch of puzzles for people to solve starting on 4/1/23, but they've slowed down a lot lately. Nancy Drew Walkthroughs did a lot with livestreaming when a new clue came out to solve the puzzle. (He's also from Canada, FYI). You can check those out. :)

Something so fascinating to me is how all of us with adhd have such vastly different needs, and how it shows up in our journals!! I’m a list girl. I need a to do list every single day with the most basic stuff on it, but doing that in the morning while waiting for my medicine to kick in is almost a routine now. all the thoughts bouncing around just turn into a bullet point or dash. I’ve been using a filofax and making my own insert (i hate my handwriting so being able to choose a font is amazing) and having the bullet journal feel again is so liberating (After being in a hobonichi planner for a few months) I love seeing how real you are with your journal! I was wondering if you do long form journaling too, or if you try to have a space outside of your bullet journal (besides just post it’s lolll) Maybe its just me loving books being filled with handwriting, but i’ve found having a book for all those thoughts i put on post it’s has been so much more beneficial for my adhd (plus not feeling like i’m wasting all the paper if im not throwing it away since it’s in a book) and i use it to stim all the time by flipping back and forth in the pages constantly Just some other thoughts i’d had !! ❤❤

Hi there. I hope you are well. I am just watching another KZfaq video and came across an idea for dealing with the stubs left after cutting pages in towards the spine - covering the stubs with white washi tape. Now your page (at around 05:30) obviously has artwork/paint on it, but maybe you could cut, cover and then paint over. If you use that method, however, it would probably be better to use a masking tape, which has a stronger adhesive, enabling you to paint over it. Sorry if you have already thought of this/tried it and found it unworkable. Best wishes from a cold, wet Yorkshire that is clinging on to winter harder than a Yorkshireman holds onto his wallet!

The Nancy Drew games mentioned gave me nostalgia flashbacks, I loved playing those when I was younger. The August/Magpie theme is my personal favorite, but Corvidae is my favorite bird family so the bias was there from the beginning. The October spread was moody and atmospheric, giving me the impression of a dark academia mystery/classic novel. September's theme is just breathtaking, your linework is always stunning. July and September's quotes are my favorite. Thank you for the video, hope you have a great day!💜
