Thank you! Exactly what I'm looking for in 75% wet drainage area. Now just for the exact spot for each water loving plant without drowning it.

I'd stay away from horsetail. It is super invasive. I started with a gallon size container some 7-8 years ago and it has taken over corner of my (wet) yard the size of my bedroom. It's nearly impossible to kill as it spreads by rhizomes. Wish I had never planted it.

Yeah super invasive. I've been pulling them all day. Keep horse tail far away from your garden!!!

Bearded iris do not like to stay wet While Japanese iris and Siberian iris like to stay wet. If the iris has a rhizome it likes to have the rhizomes dry out regularly while the roots get watered .

Hi I have clay soil and in places drainage isn't good what plants and trees should I buy thank you.

Clay soil with poor drainage can be tricky, but don't worry - there are plenty of plants that'll love those conditions! Many of the moisture-loving perennials we mentioned in the video would work great for you. You might want to try plants like Joe-Pye Weed, Siberian Iris, or Cardinal Flower. For trees, consider Willow, River Birch, or Red Maple. These plants not only tolerate wet conditions but can help improve soil structure over time. Remember to amend your soil with organic matter to gradually improve drainage.
