WIth java fern is it also easier to place into the substrate after the water has been put in the tank? I'm new and I plan on having some of the monte carlo and java fern and some java moss on rocks. Or is it easier to glue the java fern to some rocks?

yes, Java fern is enough to stick on the rock, don't plant it on the substrate

I have a question how you clean the fish poop? i mean when someone have gravel is easy but in this situation? you don't use gravel cleaner?? I am beginner i bought the aquarium Fluval Flex 57 Liters and i would like to make it like yours is amazing!❤

The two betta males migh attack each other from time to time but the area looks large enough, but if they are fighting more often you can get a divider or move the orange one into a different tank

@@kameeI being timely with your water changes, finding a balanced dosing schedule along with a healthy lighting schedule is key. but perfection is so hard to achieve unless your masterclass so there will still be some algae to brush clean. good luck & enjoy the process

Can you still vacuum the substrate without damaging the carpet?

No, you can't. unless you are really careful about hovering really high above the ground. and even then it will disturb the plants and roots. It's better to just water change from midlevel and rely on bottom dwellers to clean the substrate. Plus decay and things like that will just fertilize the carpet anyway.

just use a fertilizer, like root tabs, and regular waterchanges added co2 really isnt necesary. (in my experience)

You have to soak it first with Bacteria starter for 3 months before using it in the aquarium so that the soil becomes mature

Ight 9 - 13 hrs/day??? In a non planted tank, wouldn't that be cause for algae concern? You must be going extremely light on the ferts, (...if any at all!) zero CO² & one H of a grow light??

No places to hide, to small tank for two bettas, no shadowparts… after I saw that, I‘m pretty sure that you never thought about gathering information about the animals. Please don’t tell me that you feed them with spirulina or other algae! 😂
