Thanks Daryl! My hunting partner just purchased 340 ac. Got on to it last weekend! Our first plot was clover! We r going to do a turnip grass mix this weekend! Thanks for all your help with your great videos!!

Why do hunters plant clover food plots when it only grows in spring AFTER deer hunting season is over? Is it just to help the deer with protein when they need it but not to attract deer during hunting time?

What is the longest species that exist and does rabbits like to eat that species , or does all species grow the same height & rabits like to eat all species just as much ?.

Can you tell when clover will be best to cut so he grow fast flowers

Once you see some weeds or grass start to pop up above the clover, that's when you should consider mowing. But make sure there's some rain in the forcast because mowing clover during a period of drought can be really bad for it!

How many acres is that plot? And what would be the smallest you would go acre wise to plant.

This was 2 years ago, so if memory serves me right, I believe the plot is maybe 2 or 3 acres in size. And with clover, you can really plant as little of a spot as you want because it's relatively easy to get established.

You should use roundup..lime and fert...till then add seed best way...i skilled the roundup i feel the deer smell it and don't like it

I believe Daryl said that it's about an acre. He'll be checking this plot again soon, so we'll have part 2 out within the next couple weeks.
