Our neighbor's parents brought us two Angel Trumpets for the garden - so we pot them up and put them on the back deck - hoping for lots of blooms! Facebook: / crewsville-adventures-...

* Brugmansia is also my fist choice. i live in the uk where Brugmansia just don't grow like in your country. I often watch videos of Brugmansia in bloom to satisfy my hunger for their beauty. You lucky Brugmansia lovers.*

Por favor, poner subtítulos en español. Todo el mundo no sabe inglés, y son unos consejos muy interesantes.

I cut mine back in the winter and cover, they do not like freeze or snow, potted ones can be moved to the garage over winter

Mine keep coming back - they are next to my house but they can take some cold temps a few times. We don’t get too cold here though.

I've heard these are highly invasive?
@crewsvilleadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@shellycarey1206 I haven’t hear that Angel Trumpets are invasive here, but I know that Trumpet Vines can be. Either way, that’s why I prefer planting this in containers to start off with as it is easily controlled.

Where can I get the plat for I love them please 🙏

I would call some of your local garden centers and nurseries and ask them if they have them for sale. You can also order them online from several online shops.

How poisonous are they and how to avoid getting poisoning
@crewsvilleadventures3 жыл бұрын
From what I have read they are extremely poisonous if ingested - especially the leaves and seeds. I also read that some people recommended wearing gloves when working with them for an added precaution but I haven’t done that nor did the couple I got it from.

@@crewsvilleadventures can you get poisoned if you brush up against a leaf or if you family member touches it and then touches other objects then you touch those objects and come into contact with you mouth,nose or anything
@crewsvilleadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@janereich5170 I have brushed up against it and had no issues but I also am careful not to rub my eyes or mouth and to wash my hands afterwards. Here is a website I found with some info on it regarding safety with handling and pruning, etc. www.gardenista.com/posts/gardening-101-angels-trumpet/
