Laura, you have no idea just how much you’ve enhanced my gardening skills. I wish I had you by my side when I first got interested in gardening as over the last 34 years, I’ve invested a lot of time and money into plants that just didn’t do well. I’ve honed in on proper plant placement, making “drifts” look so flowing and natural, colour combinations, soil amendments, etc. etc. etc. You are such a delight with your beautiful smile and incredible gift of gardening. I hope that now I can pass on some knowledge to my daughter and my granddaughter that you have passed on to me (and so many others). Thank you my dear.

i second that!! i say now i used to just "plant plants" (and watch them languish, sigh).. now? i GARDEN!! i've learned so much from her about design, color, placement, and texture; and i've been gardening in some fashion as a child helping my mother in her gardens to my own now, some 60 odd years later!!

I so agree! I've been gardening for 10 years and stumbled upon her channel. We just moved into a new house and I've learned so much from her and really pay attention to leaf structure/color etc and I never did drifts before and am so glad I am now! She is such a wonderful teacher and always cheers me up to watch.

For the 1st time in over 30 years...I have a container garden on my patio. Growing begonias, hostas etc. as my patio is mostly shaded. They are doing well. It's all due to you and GA. Thanks for all you teach us. Happy Mother's day. God bless your family.

I can’t even tell you how happy I am about my investment in Power Planter augers, 5” and 3”. Got an appropriate drill, as well with a side handle. I have no problems using the augers even in old garden areas where there are roots in the soil. I am in my 70’s. No more digging holes with shovel.

Oh my goodness, how quickly the West garden has established into a beautiful, formal area! I love both formal and informal styles and love seeing how the two can marry together. The color blocks of the impatiens and begonias will be a striking addition. Congrats on another satisfyingly beautiful project!❤️

Plop.😂🤣😂 The yard area, with the statue, is SOOOOO LOVELY!!!!🤗🤩 I would sit there, all day long, on that thick, lush grass. I got rocky soil here in CT and wish I could use that auger! I've resorted to using more perennials and annual baskets and pots for my color. Your property is a winner thanks to all your (and hubby's) hard work. Looks great!

Yay! Bring on the projects :-) I love the Sunpatien series, they always perform spectacularly. I'm in Texas zone 8b and starting today we have 90+ temps with humidity going forward, yikes, so I've busted butt getting my garden projects out of the way. I will garden with you on KZfaq and stay nice and cool in the house.

I live in the Southerntier of New York State. My apartment complex has a roof garden with raised beds. Yesterday, March 30, 2024, I found a peach colored impatiens plant growing and blooming in a crack under a bench near a warm air vent! In my area, impatiens are not hardy until the end of May! What a "Happy Spring" surprise for our complex!!!

@@jadeforestco some people don’t have the space to grow plants from seed. I only start my tomato plants because that’s all the space I have to do so. I would love to be able to start all of my annuals. In my area the annuals cost 4.99 to 6.99 a four or six pack. So I always have to pay the price for what I want in my garden. I like to plant a little color among all of my perennials.

Happy Mother's Day! Last year planting tulips, second year using a drill and auger, drill ripped out of my hand twice and damaged the tendons to two fingers. I saw a hand specialist who taped those fingers together help them heal. It's been 7 months.

Great to see you using a bucket, something that is so much simpler to manage & control than the plastic bags. The bakery departments in our local grocery stores are always so happy to give them to customers & know they will be re-used for various purposes. The 2-gallon size makes a great tool tote for hand tools.

Loving how the long path with the trees and boxwoods are developing; it looks like a formal garden in Europe-so healthy and beautifully structured. All the work is paying off, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the begonias perform because I have been eyeing those for a while now!
