20 years ago, my garden saved me as well... due to circumstances beyond my control it fell into disrepair The time has come to rebuild and replant once again

This is one of the most beautiful gardens ever- and I have seen MANY gardens! (Have gone to England- six times - just to visit gardens- from Brazil!!)

The garden is so beautiful, peaceful, full of details, textures, colours, that beautiful black iron kind of a mandala frame with a view to the outside green picture is great. It's interesting that I've also experienced living with cats where I spent some time in the countryside during the worst days of the Covid pandemia. I love cats. I wish I could get to know this garden personally. Such a pleasant place!

I have a garden that saved my life as well.... actually this entire 1934 cottage has been a journey to where it is now and it saved my life in 2018 which was one of the toughest years of my life.

Beautiful. I had an amazing garden very similar to this but gave up my house and moved to an apartment trying to sell off all my stuff before moving into a new chapter in another state. This makes me miss my garden a bit more. So pretty. At least I live right next to a lake now and it takes my mind off the garden loss. Love this. Thanks for posting.

It's great that you embraced the miracle of plants. In some ways they have saved me as well with their beauty. I'm trying to influence a friend who treats stress with alcohol and partying by giving her plants but she keeps letting them dry up.

When the cat rubbed against the camera I literally laughed out loud. ^_^ I can tell that the cats really really love being in that space! I think my own kitty is happiest when he's outside with me while I'm working in my garden.

Well done Ross , good to be outside in the sunshine and fresh air, Garden is looking super and colorful. Gardens in the first world war were used to help battle scarred soldiers recover from dreadfull experiences, Thats why after the first world war came to a close there were so many allotments issued and in use, for the lifetime of the returning men. Even day to day experiences can appear rather war like sometimes, Gardens are a special retreat hey. Glad your doing ok Keep things going , . Paul at Ipswich.

Well the idea of what we today know as stress disorder and anxiousness and the therapy cures we all know of today to treat such things was nt spoken about then or probably recognised, Simpler treatments were used,, such as art, painting fresh air and the garden , watching things grow and food to watch and look forwards to harvesting months ahead, Gardens give people hope for tomorrow hey. Plus is a great escape for all the crap we have to see on the telly each day too. Bad news , ERRR and more bad news . You stay safe in the garden yeh.

I believe you when you say that the garden saved you, because I have been suffering from depression for years and I have two autoimmune diseases, and I find peace, peace and happiness only in farming. I wish to own a small piece of land and plant and live forever among plants

I've become a happier person when I started my plant collection. It's such a calming feeling when I repot, water or just clean the leaves. It's a great reward when u know that you help this garden become beautiful.

I have a very small garden in my flat, but it helps me a lot... in keeping peace, calmness, excitement of creating new life, I take frequent breaks from my work to look at my plants, and in return it helps me to concentrate better...
