How do you fix a loose wire? The long cord was caught on my furniture and I believe the wire was pulled loose because I couldn't hear anymore but people could hear me. How do I take the headset apart to ensure the wire is connected and is not loose?

My Poly BT700 was causing volume adjustment issues on my new HP laptop. Well after following these instructions and upgrading my Poly BT700, now the computer response is slow and I am unable to open Sound Setting. If I remove the BT700 dongle and reboot system then things start to work again. How do I revert back to previous FW? My older headset (BT600) doesn't have any issues.

Hey bud quick question. I just got the poly 5200 and it works fine but the only issue I'm having is the caller announce feature works randomly with my Samsung Galaxy S10e company phone. If I go to Bluetooth settings and toggle the audio setting on and then off again, the caller announce feature will work. But it is not a permanent fix as it will fail again. I'd rather keep the audio toggled off so that way when I'm using the GPS it does not interfere with my phone calls. Yes I'm referring to the contacts names stored on my phone. Also did software update. The main reason I got this is for the caller announce feature and the ability to answer or ignore just by your voice. (Since I work in construction and drive rrucks and I am usually wearing heavy duty gloves.) Ever heard of this problem? Thanks in advance.

I currently purchased Jabra evolve 30ii MS variant. When I connect my headset to office laptop via USB, the laptop hangs - could not open sound settings or play videos. If headset is connected via 3.5 mm audio jack, it works normally. Issue occurs only when I connect my headset to laptop through USB. I have a POLY C3225 since last year and today started to have issues with the mic, it doesn't work at all, moving the mic you can hear a sound, you know, typically broken. Hi, I've followed all the steps yet my right earpiece still has no audio. When I press the call button/mute button, there is sound coming through so I know it's not an issue with the headset itself.

So I connected my voyager 3200 to the usb via labtop, does the status always say device not connected in the top left corner like your screen/poly hub? I have a problem where my headset is always seemingly on "call Mode" (i.e. the microphone is activated, hitting the mute button activates "mute" as opposed to turning on/off the Open Mic - what it should do when a call is not actually happening). It's annoying because it messed up the sound quality of any other applications running and I can always hear the outside sound playing back into my headset

I tried calling their customer service and they couldn't help fix it either with an iPhone app. It was a present and apparently no longer under warranty. When I try to turn it on it says: "Power On" - "Power Off" - "Battery Medium", in that order (weird) and just turns itself off. Any suggestions? Thanks again!

Besides, I'm hearing some background noise anytime my headset is not muted. When listening to music or on mute, it's silent, but when I remove from mute the noise starts. Hi, Seems like this solution didn't quite worked for my issue. My Poly BT600 microphone suddenly stopped working and i have to idea to sort this out. What i did so far 1. Updated the Firmware from the HUB 2. Reset the headsets to factory default 3. Disconnected and reconnected to PC 4. Tested the microphone even on phone. Nothing seems to work and i am a bit confused. would that perhaps mean its not a software but rather hardware issue ?

Hi! I have purchased this Poly blackwire 5220 usb-A wired headset. The mic seems to be ultra sensitive. i.e. whenever I am on Teams call on my laptop, if i am not speaking, i have to necessarily mute my mic, since the mic is picking up too much of background noise. When i speak, they are able to hear me clearly, but there is also quite a bit of background noise getting added. The background noise is not too much, its just that my mic picks up too much of it. Any advice to overcome this problem?

I have a Plantronics Headset Blackwire C3220 and, since the first time I connected it to my notebook, the softwares that I use with the headset have gotten slower. I can't even open the system sound settings, because its window doesn't finish loading. I imagine that this issue is related to Windows 10. I've tried to use the headset with another notebook, with Windows 8, and it works properly. Neither reinstalling the device nor the Hub software solved this. Could help anyway?

Since then I can hear perfectly but other people only hear a sound like "hhhuuuustttt" every time I speak - via bluetooth connection to both laptop and mobile. Interesting video, I just bought a plantronics blackwire 5220 with USB A. Every time I use it with my laptop the microphone makes an audible hissing sound which I hear in the speakers. If I mute the mic the hiss goes away. It's works fine using the 3.5mm jack. Im looking forward to your follow up video as my firmware is already updated.

Help!! Received the Voyager 8200 yesterday, it immediately worked perfectly with macbook and iphone, the app on the iphone also worked perfectly. Until yesterday evening, suddenly the app on the iphone no longer knew the headphones, I am connected with bluetooth but the "settings" remain gray and the app says "Not connected". Anyone familiar with this problem? I did the latest updates today but problem persists....

And when you connected with two devices (such Laptop and phone), maybe you'll hear a short pause/bib periodically (it's annoying), just turn off the Bluetooth from the phone. Use single Bluetooth connection only... Just in case someone needs this tip!
