Oh goody! I am 5 minutes in and I am a happy little Vegemite, obviously from Down Under. I learn so much from all of you. Hi to Malcolm, whatever he is up to. Edit. Thomas, dont go changing, you are a gem. And George...wow, a bit of Rumi and Aristotle in the greenhouse. What a find you are. Thank you, men and Elizabeth.

I agree with George about ferns. I love them too. They have an instant calming affect & are an incredibly interesting plant! I have a fern garden which brings me much happiness. Absolutely love this first in this series! So much better than the BBC show that shall not be named... Thank you all for sharing your wisdom & humor. I'm a fan! ❤

It's so nice to see you all! You are a fantastic bunch and so knowledgeable. Thank you for taking the time to show us what we can do at home. I only have a small space and mini greenhouses but I love to learn. I'm sure many of the viewers will be excited about these clips for the average gardener at home. I sat and watched all the episodes malcom made for a year as a nursery man. It was brilliant and I leaned so much. I bought a few plants he mentioned, 1 being the weigela darts colour dream. It was so difficult to find one last year and its so different from the usual pink . Take care guys! Keep the videos coming and hi to malcom . Best wishes davena

Delightful! I'm enlightened and amused; many thanks to all who made this episode possible! Sunday morning coffee done, I'm off to look at trouble in the food area of my Sonoma County garden (Northern California). Suggiestion: tree propogation? I take on any tree seed or seedling I find, as I feel they are our Saving Grace. Conifers, shade trees, fruit or flowering...love them all.

Great video 👍👍. Well put together👏, informative and yet still fun to watch🌱🌱🌱. Thanks to all of you! (& here I go eating some of my weeds 😂). Ps: a video about "the seeds: to freeze or not to freeze" explaining how to do it the simple way and which plants it concerns or one also about "the cuttings to do this month" or something similar would be great. Just an idea. Thanks again 😊

Really enjoyed talking with you today Thomas and thanks for the recommendations. This video is so informative and full of the genuine love and care you all have for what you do. Keep on being your own natural, wise, knowledgeable and funny selves. PS My little collection of Geums, mostly from Eggleston, have undergone a flowering epiphany this year and I have lots of seed. Tips on propagating them from seed please. I'm very interested in what variations might appear bearing in mind that Malcolm's Frilly F*nny is the predominant variety here :D

I had an incident where my soil was contaminated by the manure it evidently is a weed killer herbicide that stays in the grass and passes through the cow or whatever and stays in the manure, it was bagged manure which was composted and sold by a local outlet. My soil stayed unusable for several years mainly because I didn’t want to remove the contaminated soil.

Most definitely! I went about 3 years ago and the quality of the plants, and at such reasonable prices, meant I was so tempted to buy loads of them. Sadly we were on holiday and the car was already full of luggage but I squeezed in what I could! Allow plenty of time too, it's a wonderful place to visit. One of my happiest moments was seeing the enormous bird feeder [takes about 10/12 birds at once] with so many different species of bird on it, amaazing! We actually managed to find one on line and although we don't have the bird varieties that they have at Egglestone it was well appreciated by our garden birds. I don't know if they still have that? And it was also nice to 'spot' the famous faces, it's like being in Hollywood! Lisa, Malcolms wife, helped us find a particular plant and packed up all our purchases, I saw Thomas working in the distance and John driving a mini tractor, I could hear the lovely lady who reads the poems out on the original series, she was in her little shop with a customer, and I had a good close look at the huge ancient tree in the gardens...fabulous day. We've moved a lot further south now but I hope to get back there some day.🤞
