Thermal vent does not heat the enemy ship up btw.

Agreed, it vents heat from your ship to them. Did I say it heated up the enemy ship? If I did, oops. What's the timestamp?

@@CMDR_CWolfxUKAh ok. Well it's a misleading choice of words then I guess. Makes it seem like you yourself get colder while the enemy gets hotter. IMO anyways

@@cwolfxuk-other looks like a quick killer! My preference would be turreted beam lasers though as they track better.

Build definitely looks interesting, I might try that these days. I find combat challenging in ELite because I usually played X Games (2 & 3 mainly) where basically all your weapons are gimballed by just installing a Combat Software or a targeting computer (can't remember exactly anymore) With fixed weapons I can currently hit dipshit because the enemies get either too small to aim (yeah great Cobra Mk III has such a thin silhouette) at larger distance or at lower distance they move out of my aiming reticle to fast (I guess trying to use fixed Multi Cannons is a very bad idea) Although I must admit rail guns are fun, but feel also unusable with Flight Assist Off because then the controls get so wonky like my Pilot's drunk and I miss my mark by just a Pixel 😂

Thank you for the feedback, always happy to chat. Maybe even catch you online. Completely get where you are coming from! The next build is also a bit bonkers - Cannons! Slower and fiddler than plasma but without the heat. There is one vid up already with my engineered K2, I am making a new one with totally unengineered K2.

@@cwolfxuk-other Yeah I'm currently in my K2 as well on the way to an engineer to slap thermal venting on the turred Beam Lasers. My main goal is currently to get a PvE build together to farm engineering mats while also doing other stuff like Missions for Rep grinding. NPC ships proved to be more study than I anticipated, the usual mix of Beam/Burst Lasers is just often too slow to kill them before they either flee or are dealt with by the Authorities- even Low Intensity Combat Zones are much of a Challenge if the enemies just won't die.

Yeah, I think the NPCs engineer a lot these days. Nothing, NOTHING like the evils of Horizon's initial launch, when Engineering was added. Some NPC were nuclear bricks!
