In 2019, Plastic Fischer started operating in one of the world's most polluted rivers in the world: The Citarum River. We developed a swimming barrier that we named "TrashBoom" and with this an efficient solution to stop River Plastic before it can enter the oceans.
Between 2021 and 2022, we teamed up with the Belgium NGO "River Cleanup" to add another layer to our operations: Education and Awareness Campaigns.

I don’t think this method is sustainable. It’s a nice first step, but many places with high river pollution lack widespread waste management systems, so the trash ends up in nature. If the Indonesian government is serious about containing plastic pollution, they’ll need to build up infrastructure for household waste collection, recycling, plus alternatives to plastics.

Interesting concept indeed. Thank you for saving the earth from pollution. Do you run your programs in Pacific island countries as well? Would definitely be an advocate here in Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬

More importantly, we need less plastic. What kind of moron buys 4 peeled onions in a plastic wrapper. I gave up drinking bottled water because of the plastic.

Jangan lupa game *pilah sampah plastik* gunakan 4 kotak dirumah masing-masing kotak *ditulis* *1. Sampah organik* (paginya campur ke tanah/ *MAGGOT* ) *2. Sampah plastik* (semua isi dibuang ke sampah organik (sambal, acar, lalapan dll)) *3. Sampah non organik* ( kabel, kaca, kain, baterai dll) *4. Sampah sedekah* (Botol, gelas plastik, sendok plastik, karton, kaleng) Semakin banyak orang di rumah MAKA semakin besar kotak sampah plastik. Efeknya 1. Anak Peduli sesama dan lingkungan 2. Anak attention to detail 3. Anak menjadi empati 4. Cek recek 5. In sya allah *pahala* 6. Dll *Coba selama 3 bulan* , yang tidak kuat lambaikan tangan 🖐️di komen *Sampahmu sedekahmu* Plastik sumber polusi terbesar dilaut

Indo memang pemalas. Tapi kalo ada yg mengajak kebaikan, pasti akan di respon dengan baik. Orang indo cuman kekurangan pemimpin aja. Pemimpin yg benar2 peduli.
