What I see: a lot of electricity used, and probably gas, too, for the melting phase. And a slow process. The matetials: sand[?] and processed plastic are probably cheap. So: what is the price to produce any of those tiles [materials, labor, utilities, amortized[?] cost of machinery], and how much can the tiles be sold for? Are they price-competitive with existing products? And what advantages/disadvantages are associated with these tiles? ESPECIALLY: Are microplastics released as these tiles wear fown from foot traffic, vehicle traffic, and environmental erosion? Personally, a smart government would subsidize this type of business IF "an economy of scale" is feasible AND the other questions [above] can be answered.

So many questions. If this discipline had been taught in universities, there would now be such production on every street. Another question is whether there is a profit. Nowadays, this is the first question in style ... To be or not to be! Therefore, instead of writing on the forums, it is better to act and sell these installations all over the world, and time will tell what, how and when.

What is the global cost for a complete solution (extruder, compressor and everything needed) ? What kind of plastic can be used (plastic bottles) ? What temperature do you need to melt sand and plastic ? And is this expensive in electricity ? How much does it cost to create new mold ?

We are the producer of this machines. The installation costs 78000 euro with the moulds. We can make the moulds with a drawing or muster in Your standart/the standart is different in the countries/. Time to work-3 months.Installed power-20 kW The installation includes: 1.Specially extruder 2.Press machine 3.Calibrator cooler for the ready details The machine can make 60 pieces per hour. The making area is 20 m2 without warehouses. If You have any questions please send us.The produce time is two months . The line for the production of floor coverings and roof tiles is the same. Just change molds. There is also a difference in the plastic mixture because it can also be used petrified PET bottles. The installed power is 25 kilowatts, but the working consumption is about 10 kilowatts. The blending ratio is 30% plastic and 70% sand. Marble flour can also be used to better achieve the desired color. For paint, use is an oxide cement paint.. The cost does not include delivery costs. You will get a detailed video on launching and operating the machines. You need to specify what details you want to make.

Molto interessante e belle le forme delle mattonelle. Si può fare con sabbia riciclata dalle demolizioni? Credo che questo sia un esempio perfetto di riciclo intelligente. Anche l'ambiente di lavoro mi sembra accettabile; non vedo i sistemi di aereazione, ma spero che ci siano e che siano funzionanti. Bravi.

Our plant uses waste plastic as a raw material, which cannot be used for separation and recycled as a secondary raw material. For example, plastic bags, car plastics, packaging and much more. Plastic waste is crushed with a grinder or agglomerator of fine particles about 4-5 mm. They are then mixed with dry sand in a percentage of 50/50 in weight units. 0.1% oxide paint is added. The semi-honest mixture is then placed periodically in the curing extruder, which cures the mixture and it exits as a soft mass. With a certain dose is placed in the mold and the press presses the finished product. The product is then placed in a special calibrator to make it true and not deform. One cycle lasts about 1-1.5 minutes.
