5 min on how I put together my Stone Crab traps, how I put wire into cement, attachment point, and painting buoys with primer before spray paint... we shall see how it lasts, this will be the first season for these!

Love the video! Such a fun time going out and catching some claws. As far as the chicken wire or metal rod, it’s not needed. In fact, it will overtime rust within the concrete and cause it to fracture. They sell a fiber reinforced concrete mix that’s perfect for this. Good luck this upcoming season

Good feedback, I didn't know, will have to do something different this next two build! Another problem we have been having is people stealing traps..

@@gausaleengarage7076 we have been having the same issues. Last year we decided to etch the bouys with our name. And spray the lids of the traps with orange paint as well as etch the traps with our name. We have a video that kinda shows all of it and has really made a difference. Last year we had zero traps stolen which is hard to believe in Miami Dade county LOL
