this song just emits a feeling of such melancholy, and it hits you like a wave. addition to that, it feels so nostalgic, and it leaves you with nothing but the ability to reminisce of what could've been, what could've happened if you just didn't end up the way you did now, the feeling of wanting for something that never existed.

This song was introduced to me today it feels so melancholic driving home listening to this song on repeat a couple times to get the beat the flow and rhythm down and out of nowhere i started to get sad and felt like i was about to cry cause im at a time in my life where i haven't gotten over this girl. The kind of relationship we have a 1 yr age gap and it was weird cause our families were friends and i met her when i was in elementary school cause her brother was friends with my brother and didn't really know her years went by and it was the summer before i started High school and freshman yr. She was a hugger by nature, and our family met up so our siblings could play soccer i a little leagues and she came in a for a hug and from that moment i started to like her cause she was genuinely a nice and sweet person. Months pass and my family visits her family's house and we watched a movie with me and my siblings and we ended up spooning i don't know how we ended up like thay but we did and i started to develop feelings for her and everytime we would go over to there house same thing would always happen. Then, one day when it was my confirmation (i was catholic) and we were chilling in the shed and me and our siblings and they had left i don't remember why and when they did she kissed me so now everytime we'd go to there house we would just kiss i don't know if it was our teenage hormones or we were just dumb we would do it so from the ages of 14-16(my age) and 15-18 (her age) she would have boyfriends it was fine cause we never dated i don't know how if fell/felt about but anytime she didn't have one we'd do our thing. So New yrs 2018 starts that night we ended up intertwined so she was my first kiss she took my innocence at the age of 16 she was 18 (which is perfectly legal in my state and we had each others consent) and when it was over and i went home in the afterglow i felt like we were now dating like cmon we've had this thing for 2 yrs my first kiss first sexual experience but she started dating someone else. I don't think i was heartbroken just felt betrayed and confused and i deep down knew they wouldn't stay together so hoped they would split and time passed like 4 or so yrs but i didn't and more time passed and she started dating another guy and now they have a kid now couple months old. To this day, i feel like we should have ended up together i just feel like she just slipped out of my arms without me knowing and her wanting me to catch her but i didn't and now feel like im reaching into the void but feeling like shes still there i mean ive tried to let go of these feelings i want to and i need to bur because oir families are still connected she will always be a part of my mind i mean she was just here for my brothers birthday a couple days ago i was hoping seeing her and her baby i would let go of these feelings but they don't want to leave even though she looks different with the baby and it being a long time since ive seen her but when i layed my eyes on her my heart skipped a beat and i still think shes beautiful i know this a yap sesh but i have the need to vent i have no one to relay these feelings to cause i know they'll tell me to try and let go i don't think ill love a man or woman the way i love her
