The glass screen protector can never provide drop protection as much as a plastic ones does. Here's the thing - Whether your screen cracks or not when it's dropped depends on the angle of the drop, if the corner hits first it's probably gonna shatter the screen no matter what kinda protection you have on the screen. On the other side, flat drop usually doesn't break screens unless it has been dropped 5 -7 times already and the screen has lost it's strength already. In both cases, a good case with corner drop protection and a good lip around the screen will do a lot more to protect the screen than any screen guard. Coming to the screen guard, it is proven in thousands of tests that a good quality plastic screen protector has much better damage protection than glass when it comes to flat drops. The only con is plastic screen guards gets scratched up and has no oleophobic coating. That's the only part where glass guards are better. Hope this helps, cheers!

Glass Screen Protectors are Brittle , they Protect The Phone Display but they break Easily Whereas plastic Screen Protectors absorb the shock , and Because they are Plastic and Not Brittle like glass , They don't shatter easily , but the Major Problem is that It gets scratched Easily

Gorilla glass Victus Doesnt protect from Scratches , It is usefull only For Cracks

अच्छी जानकारी। मैंने सैमसंग गैलेक्सी ए 14 में स्क्रीन प्रोटेक्टर प्लास्टिक का लगाया है ।इधर से फोन बहुत धीमा चल रहा है क्या इसकी वजह प्लास्टिक ग्लास तो नहीं है ? कृपया बताने का कष्ट करेंगे।

I m sharing my personal incidence,plz don't buy plastic protector as if your phone falls , screen will break while plastic tempered will be remain as it is.😭RIP my phone, always go for tempered glass👍

Mere Galaxy note 8 main Plastic protector hai 5 saal se and Woh protector boht bura hai Thoda thoda side se clarity lose horaha hai 😭 I will change it for 700 INR. temperd glass currently i am using a matte one and while it give a good feel to touch but the better is glass one..

@@SatyaPatro96 matte has no fingerprint and it's very much smooth but it decreases the quality of the screen and tempered glass is good for protection and it does not decrease the quality but it has fingerprints but if your phone fall so the first damage will be taken by tempered glass

If you use phone a Lot and All the Time scroll Your Screen then matte Glass is better , it is smooth , no Fingerprints , but pixels are visible , But if you want for Normal usage U can use Tempered glass
