I think the best part in this comic was when Plastic Man said "He's *LITERALLY* sitting on a throne." and called out Sinestro for being a villain (which he is) not because of the way he looks, but of how his MUSTACHE of all things looked like, to the point even Cyborg took a moment to look at Sinestro and questioned himself.

NO. Plastic man can copy the look of the Kryptonite but not the effect of the radiation. Superman would easily destroy Plastic man. He could either burn him or freeze him and break him in pieces. If superman want to waste his time and fly Plasticman to the sun, Plasticman will die in space and freeze to death before reaching to the sun. Plasticman said it himself in Injustice that he has no chance against Superman.

Hey now, Sinestro is a good guy! What’s that old saying? ‘Sometimes to make a good universe you gotta break a few hundred bad galactic empires?’ He’s my favorite DC ‘villain’! He really wants the best for the universe and knows the Green Lanterns are the best force of good… he just thinks they need a little kick now and then. Like his whole multiversal war where he got the Anti-Monitor to nearly eat reality… was all so he could press the Greens so much they’d be forced to adapt and become stronger and start killing their foes. Everything he does is for the greater good, but he has some very questionable methods of reaching his goals.

Actually Superman was proven to entirety counter Plastic Man in the Nazi alternative future. Specifically, Nazi Superman melted Nazi Plasstic Man to the ground, and flew with the rest of his body. Eventually, Plasstic Man’s body snapped from being stretched all the way from Germany to China. Plastic Man’s elasticity is massive, but not infinite.

Physical damage like that likely wouldn’t harm Plas. But throwing him into space/sun/black hole, melting him with heat vision, burying him, freezing him, or using any of his insane tech stuff would more than work. Physically punching Plas wouldn’t work… but chuck him across the universe and he’s toast. Universe would die before he ever got close to getting back.

I feel like Plastic Man is gonna be the next Superhero that James Gunn pulls from relative obscurity and makes into a household name... him and Booster Gold... Those 2 characters are criminally underutilized and they're EXACTLY in Gunn's wheelhouse of strengths when it comes to comic book characters who's personas he exceeds at bringing to life.

I mean… Plas literally can’t do anything to Superman besides annoy him. Whereas Supes has hundreds of ways to beat Plas. At most it would’ve been Plas sacrificing himself to buy a bit more time. Plas is purely physical, and is nowhere near strong enough to harm or damage Clark. Whereas Clark can launch him into space, the sun, a black hole, laser him into atoms, freeze him eternally, phantom zone, bury him, etc.

And SUperman can burn him down to the subatomic level, way worse than anything Plas has recovered from. Plas wouldnt be able to harm Superman internally. He doesnt have the strength to do any damage, and Superman's power means he doesnt breathe. Plas' best showing is stalling MMH for a bit before he gets overwhelmed.

Yeah, even Superman isn't doing much without his lungs and Plastic Man could rip those out while he was doing similar unpleasant things to the others in the room. Hence Wonder Woman mocking Sinestro for not taking things seriously. Even Batman has stated a few times that the one contingency he has against Plastic Man is that he's a good guy at heart.

uhhh he's superman...his lungs isn't batmans. the moment plastic tries to move into his lungs..superman can freeze him or just move with super speed..he has super reflexes. LOL superman is no pushover so i wish these new writers stop making superman lame. If they gonna fight..why is it that everybody prepares for superman but superman doesn't prepare for them?? 4:00 I haven't read the comic. But is it explained why Flash doesn't do anything? It takes 10 to 15 seconds to pass out. Also, if Flash can't breathe, he can't scream either.

@@CommentPositionInformer 'vibrates him into gas' man can turn into gas himself, and can absolutely stop flash from vibrating through him, though that scene still made no sense unless the flash purposefully let Plas get the jump on him, he does have ways to surprise the flash but stretching at his normal pace at normal size isn't one of them.

He has turned dirt into ice, and once turned Superman's heat vision into a form of radiation deadly to aliens. God knows what he would do if he wanted to kill Plastic Man.

Loved this video adaption of one of my favorites reads. In regards to the comment section though you striking a chord with me lol. My general annoyance with anyone that complains about a superhero being overpowered triggers especially hard whenever it’s done in defense of Superman 😂 the literal definition of Overpowered.
