It's not a bad watch when bored on a Sunday afternoon. The story is nothing original, but it's well acted, and it's nice to see Jasmine in something new. I'd give it 3/5

Watchable TV series with great ending. Couldn't get my head around Lisa wearing a top during the bedroom scenes. Unrealistic!

As it's a modern ITV show, then BritBox obviously, which is 100% owned by ITV in the UK, and was 50% owned by ITV outside of the UK... However I've just noticed that ITV have folded again by selling their share outside of the UK to BBC Studios, so it could be shown anywhere now... Although most modern ITV dramas seem to be on Amazon and Sundance (Fox and NBC in the olden days), with ITV period dramas mainly being on PBS, where ITV period dramas dominate BBC period dramas in popularity.

This was a chill series to watch. There was never a climax, really. It's just a continued mellow progression of the story. Also, I found it to be immerse in reality. When it comes to black and white interracial relationships. The black person has to live by the white person's rules. As a result of whites being dominant in society. Plus, the white spouse is somewhat worshiped by the black spouse. Overjoyed to be within white proximity and somewhat acceptance. Thus is why Lisa made an easy victim and why her dad never suspected Matty. He worshiped whiteness, too, the wife. When the dad was encouraged by the officer to rethink Mattys involvement. You'll notice the white wife shot that theory and marginalized her husbandbycuting Matty's credentials. That's white vouching for white and putting black dad in his place. White folks politics don't change just because their in a relationship with a black person.
