NO COMMENTARY, PURE GAMEPLAY!

Difficulty Rating - 6/10
As I parachute in, I aim towards the hills, then begin to snipe the hostiles at the checkpoint. Once they are eliminated, I proceed towards the objective, killing two pairs of patrols on along the way.
At the objective, I take out the guards in the watchtowers and roofs first, then eliminate the remaining enemies on the ground. I didn't take an RPG with me, but luckily, the helicopter that took off did not open fire on me.
After sweeping from building to building, I take the notebook and destroy the communications tower. En route to the evacuation point, it is only from experience that I remember that there are about six hostiles that ambush you, so I kill them then complete the mission

Played this first in the demo version. Sweet memories! I was blown away by the graphics, sound and weapons! So damn realistic for it's time. The music was also BA!

Ah the demo level, the only experience I ever had with this game as a child. I cranked hours into this one demo with various playstyles I could think of. I used to be able to jump in the back of the truck and ride it to the base. I'd also blow the helicopter up before it left. I'd sometimes stealth the level and a couple rare times made it without the enemies firing a single shot. I'd be a sniper on the hill and would go to the base only after everyone was dead. I would turn rogue and kill my team mates before going on a rampage blowing everything up. There wasn't a play style I didn't think of.

@@fizalibnalthese I was able to find the disc in my teen years but never played it much. I did pick it up again on GoG yesterday with DF 1 and Black Hawk Down. The intro to 2 still has the sound skipping glitch. I remember I downloaded a fix last time, can't find it now though.

Bit difficult to do that on Hard difficulty with a sniper XD

@@fizalibnalthese yes. my advice beware with watch tower and soldier around the camp (not inside a building). Take cover using building and move with precaution. If im remember it correctly, they shout can trigger enemy member alert. lots of duck and crawl. well I think you're already memorize all the soldier position. that will make a smooth attack.

Delta Force had groundbreaking graphics for its time with grass but looking at it now it hasn't really aged well! I'd still like to fire up the old PIII and play it for nostalgia though. Thanks for uploading

I was born one year before this game; I'm playing as an adult and let me tell you that this is pure inmersive gameplay regardless about graphics I love Delta Force franchise. It is about you, your mission and good luck to pass through at first attempt and keep living to count it. I noticed that I'm not the only one with the glitchy sniper but man, I still feel the love of the team on this game. Grettings to all DF players around the world; AV Mexican Agent - 13... out.

Exactly; they really focussed on the story and not on the DLC or anything else games focus on these days. I would love a new game series to do this; even smarter, have the missions playable with others (imagine you and your friends play. You take Bravo, and your friends take Alpha team and Charlie team) and you play!

If I have the funds I'd like to bring this game back but with modern graphics The reason why is because the gameplay of this game is like a million times better than the gameplay modes of most modern shooter games. This game is the Father of Call of Duty and Battlefield but with a better gameplay.

Ironically, I think Delta Force Xtreme 2 is meant to be just that, however, I can't access it without an online account and NovaLogic went bankrupt a while back, so I can't access it at all.

It can be done. I imported the Height maps into Unreal & ran around & everything. It took forever getting things close to scale. Unfortunately, I know very little about game development. It can be done though. Here's a link of what I did though. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9WIo92T0Z63j6s.html

You know what’s funny? I always played the full version. So when I did my upload of this game, I always wondered why this level was so popular and it took me a while to realise that’s it because this was a demo level!

To be honest, I don't do anything special. I just buy the game on Steam and run in it with the default settings, only adjusting things like resolution so that it is at it's highest.
