With the Bo-Katan you can tuck her shoulder and thigh armour in to get more movement, she's such a fun figure to pose. Gonna have to have myself a play day soon

I too have gotten the Bo Katan and the Ashoka MAFEX figures in the past 2 weeks and haven't opened them yet... glad to see that they're both good for imports! Especially the Bo Katan!

The mafex winter soldier is so much better when you trim the back of the neck a little with that fix he’s in my top ten easily. He also looks amazing with the joes, and man gi joe has put out some fantastic stuff this year too.

The Winter Soldier has a hinge on the lower ball joint, so you can hide that gap. Also if you turn the neck around you can move it up more. Great stuff Robo 👍

gotta get Bo katan's shoulderpad into the cape (under the armor vest) to get more articulation. She can actually hit a t pose pretty easy. Then if you drop down the hips and have her thigh armor go inside the hip, you can get better than some spidermen hip splay

18:14 now that is what I was wondering if it could be done. The pre-transformation, *_cringe_* from Cringer. Already pre-ordered one, might get another. 22:00 I got one of these on sale that arrived last week. Took it out, and messed with figure placement, but I didn't realize the extension here was possible. _The more you know..._

I have never watched he man and I know nothing about it but I went to Ross today and I got this new Eternia he man figure for $4 and he is just delightful. I might start collecting these figures especially if I find them at ross

Those are the exact two Mafex figures I've been on the fence about! The Winter Soldier is still my favourite MCU movie, and that figure seems to be the best figure of MCU Bucky. I think you've convinced me to get it. Bo-Katan I'll wait for a sale on, just because I keep her helmet on, so the Black Series figure is good enough. Articulation-wise, it's kinda *better,* it seems.

I really wish all figures who have long molded hair would just start using super soft plastic. The mcfarlane Aquaman from the JLA wave was perfect in that aspect

The winter soldier neck does moves but it either has a bit of glue or the material is just too much for the hole in the torso, but it is a separate piece, it doesn't has much movement even with that unlocked

I do appreciate helmets that can go on heads. For Bo Katan, Hasbro could have a hair replacement piece if they don’t want helmet head hair… 😂😂😂. Winter Soldier needs guns… lots of guns. It is a crime to just give him knives.

Granted, I don't collect action figures outside of Hasbro's Black Series and Marvel Legends lines (I know what I like, and I just stick with it -- plus it's affordable for me), but I had no idea that MAFEX was doing the photo-real face-printing stuff too. Most of what I have seen from other companies (specifically Diamond Select, S.H. Figuarts, and McFarlane Toys), they still paint/tampo the face details on. It's nice to see other companies doing it too, because some of those other companys' lines have varying degrees of awful face paint lol. That being said, Hasbro's face-printing tech still isn't the greatest when it comes to live-action-based figures, but they've really been knocking it out of the park with Marvel Legends comic characters lately (imo). I just recently picked up the Void BAF wave, and man, those faces look great! I have no attachment to Justice or the New Warriors, but that face print on Justice just looks sooo good, and has probably taken the top spot of my favourite face print among the stuff I own (Blob originally had that spot for me).

Robo, outside of the He-Man in Space figures from the late 80'/early 90's, no MOTU toyline has ever been to produce a figure that was capable of seating properly! The loinclothes always make that an impossibility, so figures can't seat, only lean on seats.

Bo-Katan, not that I want to make Uncle Robo unhappy, but Black Series sculpt is on point the paint is bad, Mafex paint is good, sculpt is off. Check the nose area and you'll see what I mean. 😊 I got the Cartoon Collection Adam and Cringer for the exact same reason for Cringer 😂

I personally feel like "play day" should be reserved for all things custom, stuff you made others made, or stuff you bought and plan on using for a custom build. Videos like this, I would use a different title, like mixed bag, or one of my old favourites of yours, sorting the assortment. For videos where it's just a random group of official toys.
