Corrections: 2:15 - Number of characters in the game - Different moon styles always have differences between the normals and specials. These can be slight, there are cases where only a some of normals appear to have changed (though often there are differences in frame data that aren't so easily perceptible). Specials always differ to a noticeable degree. Also ig the phrases "completely different feel" feels like too much of a qualifier. MBAACC does have 93 characters, there's no debate. 2:33 - Game Balance - The game is pretty well balanced. There are definitely top tiers and they can be miserable to fight against, but every game has its top and bottom tiers. Melty is no different in this regard. The more skilled player will win, no need to qualify it as much as you did. 2:53 - Full Moon - Reverse beat can as often in a pressure sequence as the sequence allows. There is no "once per blockstring" restriction. Full moons don't as use their command normals or specials to reset as often as simply having better frame advantage on a lot of their moves, making reverse beats unnecessary to create plus-on-block situations, and allowing resets. There is no trend of full moon characters having more damage per hit or shorter combos than their crescent or half moon counterparts. The part on not being able to cancel airdash into anything but j.A is backwards: j.A is the only normal they can cancel into airdash; there is no restriction on what you can do out of airdash. 3:33 - Half Moon - There is no trend of half moon characters being focused on long combos, rushdown, or high risk/high reward. There are no trends that are true across all moons other than the moon mechanics themselves. 4:19 - Crescent Moon - Crescent moon characters are not as a trend any easier or more difficult to pick up than any other style of character. All of these moon trends do not exist. There are differences between characters on their different moons, but what those differences may entail is not related to the moon. It is 100% case-by-case. Moons do not have a "feel" outside of their explicit system mechanics and the things directly related to that (specifically, F-Moon characters DO as a trend have better advantage on block, especially on lighter normals). 6:02 - EX Shield - There is no requirement to tap shield to get an EX shield. As long as the shield connects within 4 frames, it will be an EX shield. Tapping it will ensure that it is only active for 4 frames, though, so it's impossible to get normal shield if it's tapped, but still very much possible to get EX shield if held.

Actress Again over Type Lumina? I've briefly played both but I have a lot of trouble playing online. I stuck with TL because the Score Attack was good enough when playing alone. I don't want to sound like I'm asking with malice, why should I go back to Actress Again?

i just played it for the first time today and it is a great game. the community has been very nice to me so far as well. the 93 characters thing is a little daunting, so i just picked off design. nothing saying you can't change characters later.

Good video but I think much of the moon style and gameplay discussion would be confusing for people new to melty blood video examples of the things you're talking about would make it more clear what the things you're talking about do and why they're fun

Been watching a bunch of this game and man it looks so fun I got the steam version but is the balance in it different ? If so I’ll just play on the community version

Good video, although some parts got me confused -In the moon section, it feels like your both leaving out too much information and giving too much at the same time. I think the generalizations on the moons are good enough -In the shield section the pause between "shield counter" and "special" make it sound like crescent moon can shield counter -In the movement section, you could explain that you go cycle through those options freely instead of listing them all down -Some of the pauses at the end felt a bit weird like 8:27 Keep it up dude!
