I would never play cards with Ace. I know from watching Jack's ceremony robes vignette that he always cheats. Ace is the goofy "future delinquent" boy of the group (complete opposite to Deuce, which is why they make such a good/funny friend pair). I can definitely see him being a jerk instead of admitting his true feelings to people he likes, the same with Sebek and anyone who isn't Malleus Draconia. The way I see it, MC came in without knocking as revenge for all the times Ace and Deuce came to Ramshackle Dorm, or just invaded their space, unannounced. I don't like Ace but I don't hate him either; whenever I see him though, I am reminded of why I willingly went into single-sex, private education schools like Night Raven College starting when I was high school age myself.
