Well, Megaten demons are mental constructs born from archetypes present in the collective consciousness that connects universes and made physical with Magnetite/Magatsuhi, so, I think the data/essence of fused demons just result in a copy of the desired demon. And because the Compendium registers demons, I think that what unlocks demons for specific fusions is data colected from encounters with those demons, so maybe, yes, they may be near 1:1 copies of the demons you killed, just with absolute loyalty to you due to the contract that is signed with the fusion process.

If SMT4 is to be trusted, it might be the same one. Minotaur outright states it when you fuse him

It seems to depend on how they're recruited or summoned. I think 90% of the time they're near perfect copies, but loyal to you. There's a few special cases like Super Pixie and Fion McCumhail

I mentioned this in another comment so lemme copy and paste hehe ok so there are 240~ demons in SMTVV. Not all of them have conversation, so let's say 220~ demons have conversations. they take about 30 seconds each, and there are 4 to 6 convos. That makes 2 to 3 minutes. If we take 2.5 mins x 220, we get 550 minutes of demon conversations. Which is... 9~ hours! If we then count in Tao, Yoko, Atsuta, Dazai, Aogami, and Tsukuyomi, who have new conversations depending on where you are in the story. I'm sure we're looking at 1-2 more hours. I want to, but I dont think l'd want to touch smt v ever again after making such a long video. Hope you understand :)

I was able to fuse him after 1. if you have Anahita in your party (I think? IDK if you need her in your party) An Asparas Near where you first get to the Fairy village area will tell you that there is a weird guy at the place where the Anahita Battle is. After you finish the conversation Armaiti wasn't there right away for me but he'll be there eventually. 2. There he will give you a quest to go into Tokyo and try to remove the Quadistu's influence or something (Just go and talk to everyone until a fight happens I don't remember the exact people you have to talk to) than report back. 3. Than i did the quest to kill Mara and than he was unlocked for fusion (Also he said something about how my answer choice to Mara Matched his will? IDK if that's important but just in case). sorry if any of this is wrong, its how I remembered unlocking him

You need atleast one of the demons required for her fusion in the compendium or the option to fuse does not show up

No, they are indeed can be Summoned, but after you defeat them.

It's a shame they never brought back the combo skill system from DDS. Could have easily slotted in these skills as them.
