Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's beloved film, WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna - a waitress and expert pie maker, Jenna dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county and the town's new doctor may offer her a chance at a fresh start, while her fellow waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness. But Jenna must summon the strength and courage to rebuild her own life.

I can't get enough of this musical. I saw it on a whim when I was in NYC cuz I got a coupon from a "waitress" in Times Square. And I'm glad I did! Can't wait til the tour comes to Chicago! (Please stay for a year while you're here!)

I can't wait to see Waitress on tour in a few weeks. Ever since I saw it on Broadway about a year ago I wanted to see it again if it came on tour and since it is I get to see it again. Waitress is my favorite musical in the world and I love it more than any show I have seen on broadway.
