Fun Fact: Place was recorded in 2018 and even after almost 3 years later and the pause was never removed. The pause was confirmed to always exist according to people who have unleaked Carti songs. Only thing that was different in the official release as compared to the original file was the added Pi’erre Tag and adlibs being different or in different parts of the song than the original version

Favorite song on the album by far. Also, people can’t really get mad at Carti for starting from scratch the OG version of WLR kept getting leaked so I can only imagine how frustrated & annoyed he was. If it wasn’t for the leaks WLR would’ve literally been a 10 out of 10.(After further evaluation the album grew on me and is a solid 8 or 9 out 10. Carti went 3 for 3 imo🤷🏾♂️)
