@@lockandloadlikehell I disagree... I'm quite familiar with some of today's music, it's just that very little of it actually catches your emotions. When you have 20+ writers to a song, things get lost in translation. It's missing the pure poetry that is the 60's-70's music.

I’m 54 years old. I was 8 when this came out. It was the heyday of roller skating rinks as hangouts. This was a huge couple skate song! My parents were way into music and going out dancing and my dad called this song baby making two stepping white boy soul…the singer, Peter Beckett was 28 when this came out. He’s in his 70’s now but still tours as Player and still sings very well.

I just found you. Player was a one hit wonder. I was in high school when it came out. I heard you say you liked the guy in the red. His name is Ronn Moss. There's a long running soap opera on CBS, called The Bold and the Beautiful. Ronn played a major character on that soap opera for many years, named Ridge Forester.
