This script is so ridiculously convoluted that even with Jams practically flashing a neon sign saying they are the politician, Ben is so in the weeds trying to unravel the game he can't see it.

I think he kinda did it to himself. The second he was jumped to he just let every bad possibility get to the front of his mind lol. Watching it live i kept thinking "whys he freaking out? he hasnt even outed his role yet". Of course thats easy for me to say watching it and not playing it. So i dont mean that as an insult. Id probably react much worse lol.

I was so sure that jams was the actual mutant and Simon was actually the snake charmer and it’s swapping with them or something lol. That conversation was very interesting for sure lol

I loved watching the politician also showing what sort of chaos there could be brought. I love politician. It really brings the chaos of people trying to flip by being the reason they lost. It's so interesting

I just realized you only need four confirmed goods to beat three evils (in theory, all else constant, kind of). Even two or three confirmed makes a huge difference, but may be difficult to get.

Was so fun watching all three of the Ben Fang Gu trilogy on the live stream, were to many more where you get to finish as a character other than Fang Gu

I love watching this. Is there a chance (im unsure on time pressures) for a player discussion at the end of your games? I'd love to hear from a players a bit more with any thoughts/funny stuff after the ST does a wrap up. Something like 'ohhhhhhhhhh, so i was poisoned THEN and so THIS is why THAT happened'

I know this comment is ages old, but in case anyone new to clocktower stumbles on this, the goblin doesn't have to be mad that they're the goblin, they just have to claim it, so they could claim every role on the script and so long as goblin is among the roles it would count as a goblin claim. The storyteller is supposed to announce that goblin has been claimed to clear up any confusion over it, and make sure everyone heard.

how does the politician interact with the heretic? does the politician change teams then the heretic flip things, or does the heretic flip things, then the politician might trigger. I know it didn't matter this game, but the thought was bugging the hell out of me when jams was doing her thing.

The heretic’s ability is the last thing that happens to determine the winners of the game, so it would look like this 1. The politician causes evil to win. 2. The politician becomes evil. 3. The heretic causes everyone who is good to win and everyone who is evil to lose. So in this case the politician would lose.

I don’t understand why evil didn’t just nominate Aggie when 4 players were left. Good wasted all their ghost votes and only had 3 voting power. Evil had 4. Aggie claims goblin and evil wins.

At that point good can tie if Jams throws in with good. They would still only be able to tie the following day though with two living evil votes, one living good vote and one good dead vote. The answer though I think is that Ben didn't realize they had the votes, and dragging it out one more day doesn't hurt evil either

Why did Ben not jump to Simon? If Simon was actually the mutant, then that's an outsider? I don't think drunkenness or poisoning could be a factor, because the jump is the Fang Gu ability and if that wasn't working, he wouldn't have died. (And no extra sources of death on the script). And I'm not aware of a Scarlett Women like clause where the Fang Gu can only jump once, or it stops after there are only a certain number of players alive etc.

Hey! The current Fang Gu ability is that the *first* outsider killed by the Fang Gu becomes the evil Fang Gu. After that, the Fang Gu is stationary. Since Ben was a starting Outsider who caught the jump from Skilz, Ben didn't have the ability to jump to anyone else.

@@BloodontheClocktower It was the death at about 1:46:00, but someone has pointed out that the Fang Gu states it's only the 1st outsider picked. I thought there could be multiple fang gu jumps, but that's been cleared up for me.

@@BloodontheClocktower question: if a drunk/poisoned fang gu selects an outsider, who then does not die, can the fang gu no longer jump? what about a protected fang gu, who selects an outsider but cannot die?

I’m still fairly new around here but Jams just rubs me the wrong way, especially in this game. Acting like she has to be notified of every possible play and gets offended when she isn’t, yet is never willing to share and acts like her way is always right. She may just get really into this game, I don’t know her personally and I get it to a degree in this particular game given her role, but I just don’t like that angle of game playing, it’s a sure fire way to piss everyone off.
