I want to say yes because these past 3 months he's been immense for us, but I find it hard not to include Mac Allister in the equation. They both play off of each other and Endo allows Mac to go forward and do his thing in the final third. They are working so well together.

I remember the Palace away game in December. Palace were targeting him because he was still settling in. I liked him and could see he was working hard but I still wasn't sure he was good enough. Since then he's gone into overdrive. Obviously has gotten up to speed with Klopp's tactics, a new league, new teammates etc and he's honestly reminding me of Fabinho's best years; the way he is in the right spot to gain possession and is already thinking what forward pass to play and sometimes doing both with one touch. He has a nice little shuffle for getting around players too and has a goal in him. Absolutely stellar signing!

It's like he's everywhere all at once. Nipping at the opposition, a little tidy skill once the ball breaks for him and then a sweet through ball. Every single game. His headers invariably seem to fall to a team mate who then ideally continues the progress towards goal. I'm more impressed than when Robbo arrived (similarly unheralded and for a low low price). Pretty much up there with Salah's unbelievable first-season transformation (anon at chelsea, much improved at Roma but still off most radars). The 'tragedy' is that it took so long for this diamond to really be discovered by a massive club. I just hope his 30s don't see a decline too soon. What. A. Player. HE MADE DE BRUYNE CRY!!! :D Who the fuck does that!!! :D

The key is to have a proper a rotation. If Endo is part of a rotation, he could easily perform well for another 2-3 seasons. Endo is at an age he just should not be playing more than 135 minutes per week if it can possibly be avoided, but just 90 would be better still. We relied on Fabinho too much and he burnt out prematurely. Robertson is in a similar boat, and we have been seeing occasional drop offs in performance levels when Andy plays a lot of minutes this season and last. I appreciate that Endo was an 'effing machine for 120 minutes at the cup final, and came back from strong from there to play a lot of minutes since. Let's not repeat that in the future.

Endo is a boss. Samurai in the midfield. Always in the right position, wins balls and tackles, plays really great passes with his teammates to get the ball of out tight spaces and eventually attack forward after getting the ball back. Never stops working. Dedicated. 100% amazing player.

There was no risk, International Captain, club captain in the Bundesliga, amazing in Germany and for Japan. We needed an experienced CDM, he took a few months to adapt. Endo is a top CDM. And showing it.

Endo keeps it tidy, keeps it clean, and more, importantly, keeps the play moving *forward*. After the many years of side- and back-passing, it's so refreshing to see. The guy scans and knows already where he's going to send the ball. Ball comes in and it's off again. Pass over the top? No problem. Send in a line-breakin pass? No problem. Just up an crunch somebody when they show too much of the ball? Damn right! That's Endo.

I remember seeing him sign for pool and straight away thot he would be league signing of the year , watched him for years and consistently one of the best I’ve seen in a while in this position with incredible on and off ball intelligence which most midfielders sadly no longer have certainly not consistently , the quality of performances effort and professionalism with the fee he cost is one of best signings in years
