Hmm, so many facts here. Even with flaws, there are things about all the 343 games I found myself enjoying, and a bit of a bitter-sweetness over what could have been had they just committed to one idea or another. Guardians has flaws, but I feel like if you know that going in and weren't mislead by the marketing prior to release, it's more tolerable. I know I've seen many suggest to others (for whatever reason, a lot of people are trying Halo for the first time recently) to skip 5, but gameplay wise it's honestly pretty strong for a campaign, a lot closer to the large shooting galleries and arenas of 3, story however, might be easier summarized. Infinite is still recent enough where it's kind of hard to judge at the moment, but I think it's generally been the best received campaign of the 343 era, and I do enjoy the more open approach to it. But yeah, agree with your statement. Ive been in the community online since the 343 era and it's unfortunately very reactive to every new thing that is made. I love the universe, setting, and even the worst games are genuinely well made in most regards and maybe lacking in only a small area or so. I just hope Microsoft can actually build a team that can commit to a vision that leaps for the stars again, and not the chaos the last decade has gone through.
