For those who arrived in this video and did not see the new version (more faithful to the original doom) here is the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fpuUZM5zp9jce2w.html Those who have common sense and know Doom Eternal well know that: - There is no way to play in a classic way without glory kills, enemies are very fast and Doomguy loses health very easily and there are not many health packs scattered on the map like Doom 1 and Doom 2 (and glory kills are very cool). - I said "No Jumping" - IN COMBAT, it is easy to discover that there is no way to advance in the level without jumping / climbing over obstacles. - There are people who say: "No Crosshair and No freelook" ... The crosshair I should have deactivated it is true, but I challenge someone to play Doom Eternal without aiming up and down, expecting the projectile to automatically target the enemy :)

I think we are fortunate to experience a game like doom evolve the way it has. It could have easily been forgotten, or even worse transformed in a generic fps or a battle royale or any other game that changed the experience completely.

I always play classic pose, no crosshairs, no glory kill highlights and my friends who don't play doom call ME crazy? Props for this and the updated vid. Nightmare mode in 2016 gave me nightmares as i hadn't played doom in an eternity (pun intended) and it took me a second to get into it. I felt like a boss for beating it though and thought I'd blast through nightmare mode on eternal as well. . . I was sorely mistaken.

This would so awsome to play after completion, and this way better way of playing it great job on this

it's so interesting that sound alone creates such a different experience. I'm playing doom64 right now and I noticed a similar thing there where the ambient soundtrack alone makes it feel more like quake. The environments are darker and set up a lil differently than doom but overall it's still doom, but the music alone makes it feel like quake.

Amazing choice in music

It's amazing how the timbre in the original changun and regular shotgun sounds pack more 'punch' than the newer sounds.

Damn, I wish I had doom 2016 and eternal minimum specs :( edit: My laptop is a radeon hd 6470m core i5 2430m 2.4ghz 6gb ram it is under the minimum specs said by developers, but I saw someone playing it on an even older pc so I'm installing the doom 2016 demo on steam to see if I can run it. If I can I'm gonna buy the game, if not, I'm gonna uninstall the demo re-edit: The demo runs at 640x480 lowest possible settings at 10-20fps. Instant regret.
