8:45 I think that sp3 animation is a shorter version of classic superman sp3,with a faster beam instead of supes' longer duration beam

The first hit from the SP2 is Multiverse Supergirl's SP2 kick before the freeze, the second hit is Multiverse Armored Supergirl's SP1 first hit. The kick could be a new asset, but I'm not sure

SOSA does not work if opponent resist the crit. this is bugged since one or two versions ago

SoSal doesn't work right against high resist teams. It was the same in the previous version. It's a dumb bug.

I interpreted it as they need to power steal from you. She is basically a counter for power steal characters and bosses.

Before the update, SOSAL didn’t work if opponent has nth metal armor artifact. Looks they did not fix this bug in this update.

As i know all characters which can be unlocked in 1star can invade the arena like classic Batman,classic Superman,hush,Batman ninja hq. So most probably ahe also can invade the arena. So wait until she invades the arena and you will get all the gear from the playing arena.

Her and teammates specials give her Solar Energy stacks. Based on the amount of stacks (i think) specials become orange/yellow which indicates they'll consume Solar Energy. When Solar Energy stacks are consumed the team receives a DMG buff (max. 400%)

You want to spend that solar energy you accumulate. That’s the only way to get damage buff. So you want to gain solar energy, once a special is highlighted, you use that to get the damage buff. However, when spent that special being SA2 or SA3 will no longer have it. So you’d have to start back at SA1 or constantly use specials to accumulate solar energy again. It’s a fun mechanic.
