We didn’t realize how good we had it. That was the peak. 2007/2008. Playing Halo 3 and MW1 and MW2. Then playing Rock Band with the boys together in the same room. Great times. Social media and twitch streaming werent really a big thing yet. Miss those days!

It's funny because we got that way as teens to people who don't touch grass and now in 2023 we're in our late 20's and early 30's working full time and getting killed by those same people who don't have jobs and need to touch grass. The reason he died was because his health was very low and in H3, health recharges slower than shields so the ‘nade killed him.

i think it was due to me having like 1% health (but full shields), since h3 has invisible health that recharges slower than your shield. that combined with my double reload was hella tilting tho

Hahaha I remember I sat up straight and thought 'not today'. 😅 Was a fun 1v1 with 3 bots on each team, only existing to tie multis together. I struggle to play anything other than HC 2v2 for more than 2-3 games and even that is hard sometimes. I envy your patience. Much love, Brother.

While I do agree that 343 has fucked Halo up beyond all repair, that nade kill is working as intended. 1. It bounced off his armor 2. H3 (and I think H2 as well) has a hidden health stat that recharges slower than your shields, and since the AR kid he got the triple on almost killed him, his health was still low so he died to the ‘nade. Grenades that are that close not only break shields but do health damage too, as I’m sure you’re aware.

I used to be the worst at Halo 3 compared to Halo 1, 2, Reach, etc. Halo 3 was the one game I couldn't get good at. Now it's my favorite. I think the big hurdle to get over is getting used to Halo 3's projectile weapons. Leading your shots with the BR feels really weird and inconsistent until you get used to it.

Anything really lol halo 3 is built on an ultra ULTRA old ass engine.

@@BeardAxeMcAxeBeard thats actually crazy. Everyone I talk to about halo complains that the new games after reach were all easier to snipe in and that H3 was the hardest one. Like in infinite the heads are so big and easy to hit lol.
