After watching this trailer I thought the same thing as everyone else - it shows the whole movie. Then I watched the movie. And I loved it. The trailer makes it look more predictable than it actually is. It is so not typical, so not formulaic, and it is so much more realistic than the average romcom (with plenty of unrealistic/exaggerated elements mixed in). I even got a little emotional towards the end. I think the moral of the story (besides the movie having a good script, and being shot nicely) is that Chris Evans has an amazingly expressive face, and he really brings alive any role he plays. Thumbs up.

In my personal opinion, this movie is seriously underrated. I absolutely love it, and not just because of Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie either. (I mean, they're part of why I love this movie, but I love it because of the rest of the cast and the plot too.) Also, the last time I saw this movie was bit of a long time ago, so I didn't remember that Anthony Mackie was in it until I watched this trailer.

So this movie looks stupid but heres how my version will go Captain America and Falcon take a break after The Winter Soilder and decided to go on vacation, Cap meets a very beautiful girl but she's getting married to that nerd Mr. Fantastic so Captain America decides he must be someone else he has to be something else. He becomes The Human Torch Johnny Storm to get his girl. But he has help from not only Falcon but oddly Venom, Starlord's wife from Parks and Recreation and for some reason Luke Wilson. Who wants to see my movie

I'm guessing they get together in the end. Dunno why. Call it a hunch. I'm so glad the likes of Chris Evans get to do the Marvel films. It means they get paid loads of money so they can then take on risky, controversial, challenging roles like this one without the fear of being homeless if it flops.

So..,basically, Falcon gets Captain America/former Human Torch a job writing a romantic comedy, where he works with Star-Lord's TV wife, Venom, and the guy stole Venom's one-time girlfriend back in the 70s. While he's on the job, he meets Iron Man's one-time high school crush and one-time baby mama. He develops feelings for her, but she's already dating former Mr. Fantastic. Did I miss anything?
