Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is going FOREVER in less than a month. In this video we play it with the objective to raid a woodland mansion, will I succeed?
In late July the Xbox 360 Marketplace will be shutting down, buy all your xbox 360 games before then!

I actually have a set of roms with virtually ALL of the Xbox 360 title updates and an emulator (Xenia) to play it on. As long as you have my ZIP file downloaded and unpacked on your PC, and a controller (preferably a Xbox 360 controller) you'll be able to play the Xbox 360 version of the game. I will probably release on my channel a video on how to change the Xenia settings to let you play the full version of the xbox 360 edition instead of the demo version it defaults to. I know how to do it, but it's my way of preserving xbox history.

Gone in the sense you won't be able to buy it digitally. You can play it forever so long as you have it. Getting a physical copy... Good luck

@@mrowlsss Its been dumped for all consoles it was on. As long as you have an emulator or a modded system, these games will forever be playable, and otherwise as long as you have it purchased digitally before the shutdown or a physical copy, you can play it forever that way too.

I used to play this every day when I was 9. The way it works is: you friend random people on black ops 2, then you join them on minecraft, meet the friends they're playing with, and add those people... The result is, you get to join lots of people's worlds, but they're not necessarily your friends. So you either play nice, or cause chaos. it was fun either way

@@SheepManCE I tested it and it didn't drop in CU1 nor in TU1 It most likely never was possible for it to drop with a stone pickaxe

In any edition and version of Minecraft pass first full release java and all only drop with Iron pickaxes.

I'm happy I can still play online on it. And alot of games still have online mode avaliable. I am kinda surpised it lasted this long able to buy 360 games.. sad they can't keep it up forever.. So it just means people would need to buy the disk version from amazon or some other place. If there was future people that wanted to buy some 360 games..

I recently started replaying pre pre aquatic Minecraft on my uncle’s (now mine) 360. The nostalgia from it is insane, since it was an older Xbox it never had a chance to update so it’s stuck super far back in time.

It’s impressive this version of the game even exists on the 360 when you consider it was originally released based on beta 1.6 back in May 2012, and even then there were some kinks with performance

Updated my digital copy of the game & while I’m unable to connect Xbox live to it it’s nice to play it in person with friends. I’ll miss the mini games

You can go back to TU1 by going to storage, going to minecraft then delete the title updates, you have to have a digital copy though

I got the ps3 version when i was 4 and ever sence ive been grinding it to death. Last month i finaly beat the enderdragon for the first time and i felt like ive done evreything that i could do. I made frends, foes and good times. Id say that if you want a good minecraft experience you sould play the legacy versions. Legacy forever. :)

For everyone who doesn't know, Xbox 360 will be closing down their online marketplace as they will no longer support older version of the console as they have done before with older generation consoles. Meaning you can only play the games if you have a disc or if you buy the game before July 29th from the digital store. Edit: In addition games will still play online as long as the publishers still support the game on the platform

Well at least we have the legacy Xbox one and ps4 still and I bought all the mini game dlc, and the best thing about my Xbox one edition Minecraft was that it was gifted to me from my now dead grandma, but glad I have Xbox one instead 😅

It wont be gone if you download it! or better yet buy the physical disc version. Id recommend picking up Terraria too. Great games. I have an og video over 10 years playing minecraft 360 online when it first dropped.

Why would it be gone? They’re only delisting all games on the marketplace and shutting the marketplace down but any games you have in your download history will still be downloadable

Well we don’t really know Mojang/Microsoft’s intentions right now but I doubt they have any, back in 2017 they refused giving Xbox One Edition and Nintendo Switch the aquatic update so they had the intentions of killing the community but not that the game itself.

luckily having a RGH 360 allows me to pretty much negate the Shutdown, I have most of my games on discs anyways, but I can go ahead and download any game from the internet archive from the 360 game collection there, I would recommend anyone to invest into a RGH xbox 360.

@@madmikefollower6939 doesn’t let u load it and shows an error message, if u bypass the error message it just crashes your game. There are other ways to actually get it working on Xbox one though

Minecraft Xbox 360 is up there with java it is way better quality than bedrock edition and its shit marketplace, glad that we were blessed with this version on the console when we were kids.
