All the pauper content is super fun. Poison is just the kind of mechanic that is irresistable for the Johnnys of the world, I understand. Mengu liked the vibe so much he brought it home to his workshop, thats truly the greatest compliment.

the editing in this episode was a step above your usually already high quality. I really loved it. (the cut back to Andrea moving the dice, the moving mana symbols to play along with Adrea's and Carl's Talk, the Poison filling up the life total, it was just fun without being overbearing)

Back on phyrexia I made an artisan standard deck based on proliferate and poison counters, because I love the mechanic. But this deck with the prisms and the depletion lands is a lot more fun. I love it

Cool to see this pop up! I just built a Zevlor Poison deck for Commander that includes a bunch of these spells that have Proliferate stapled on. Pretty scary dishing out 9+ poison counters on a turn!

The editing is really high quality, the musics, the details in the life and poinson counters, the mana... everything is just perfect and in the details but it makes the game easy to follow and fun to watch :) Every paper magic video should be like that!

What I’ve learned trying to make a poison deck is that easy to make a bad poison deck. There are many different ways to give someone poison counters that you’re temped to mix them, while it’s better to go heavy in to way specific way to give your opponent poison counters.

It's Against the Odds, but in paper! I loved this one! Carl was having so much fun. The edits were funny and on pt too. Content Idea: Go back to doing user submitted decks. Card Market does this from time to time, but mix it up. Play BOTH decks user submitted rather than 1 vs the meta. That way a community member always wins a deck.

I'd lean on the green mana and add some fog effects, sure you don't kill them as fast, but depending on matchup can (like this one for example) it'd be pretty good I think

Proliferate with Pentad Prism and the depletion lands is actually really scary! Being able to cast "free" spells or keeping 2-mana lands on the board seems quite strong.

One of the first times I've ever rooted for Infect. And I was playing jank Infect with the Infect lord in standard from scars back in the day. Lol

Poison and storm are legitimately my two favourite mechanics hahaha Christmas came early

Great content as always😉👍🏻 One thing to point out. In game one Carl should of had one more turn. Each time he cast Weather the Storm, they only counted the Storm count. You gain 3 life from the spell itself too. So Carl should of gained a total of 9 more life the first game.

Karl, that deck has legs. I would love to see it played again. You should stick with it. Consider trying Waxmane Baku in the deck, the only other common that could add mana while you're going off. I can't think of a lot of spirit or arcane cards that would work well with it - maybe Ideas Unbound or Peer Through Depths - but you'd only need one to get it going. Also, repeatedly proliferating The Modern Age could be a big game!

Maybe thrumming bird in the sideboard for the proliferate deck, then when the opponent sides out all their removal, you side in thrumming bird to fight for the initiative/monarch and still prolifirate.

Carl you are not equipped enough for the pain that Andrea can do with kindness and magic cards :D He is an angel after all.

i very mach like pauper poisen storm, one of my first decks in pauper but you need to play snap in the deck, antaping your lands that taps for two mana is so good and lets you storm of faster
