I haven't seen the video yet (Physics Homework), but there are tons of Nascar mods, including draft physics if you want to do races with drafting.

This is something I didnt expect to see but it is something I will certainly take. Finally getting on the beam grind man, it’s a good game; you’ve barely scratched the surface on all of the things you can do in this game.

The amount of modding to this game is incredible! There's a few channels dedicated to BeamNG like CarPal, and others show that modding community to this game. Radman, if you're going more stuff to this game, get a better gaming system before that. It takes frame rates like politicians waste tax dollars on useless projects.

2FastRacing also has a Hauler style semi trailer too. This game is amazing. It has everything from drag racing to NASCAR to Monster Jam. Anything you can think of, you can do in Beam 😀

Also, Shift-C will switch to freecam mode so you can fly anywhere, and F7 will drop your car where you have the freecam

The PC version of NT04 is rFactor based which means easy to rip assets, this Talladega mod likely come from the PC version and not the PS2, this is why looks similar but different.

Why couldn't the company that made the nascar games have these crash physics? It doesn't seem like it would be hard to put that into the game and make it more realistic

@K9RacingAndStuff even the original nascar game or I believe it was for the first PS had a better damage model compared to the one they have now, I think the developer was papyrus, not sure though

@@SHAKENBAKE-sh6kn yeah, but there's a fundamental difference between hard body (predetermined meshes/animations) and soft body (live) damage, which is the fundamental difference to contend with.

FYI, it is often recommended to avoid Modland. People pirate paid mods or otherwise upload mods without giving credit. As with any place allowing piracy you end up with malware and all sorts of stuff included in some of the files with no real way to know. I definitely recommend BeamMP for multiplayer to get even more out of the game

you can't get AI to race, they are very bad. They just follow a route so you can botch together a "race" but they don't see you, let alone do drafting and stuff. You'll have better luck setting up a multiplayer server with the BeamMP mod, and make sure to add the drafting mod too because the default aero sim doesn't have it.

AI races are currently hard to set up quickly. Unless there’s some AI races premade for the mod tracks, then he can’t really do anything without lots of free time

@@mikegood13 NR2003 does NOT function more realistically. iRacing scans all the tracks, cars, etc. Real NASCAR drivers, IndyCar drivers, etc use iRacing to practice tracks. They DO NOT use NR2003. Why? Because it is nowhere near as realistic. Period. You have zero clue what you are talking about. Time to zip it.
