Thanks for doing all these videos. Is this a 4k resolution or HD? I mean what you can see on your screen..so basically what is the resolution from the projector?

It is 4k. But, just understand videos do get compressed when uploading to KZfaq. It is a decent representation though in my opinion.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Just to make sure we are both talking about the same thing. I know that YT compresses videos, but I also meant what kind of resolution/image quality you see when you hit the balls against the screen. It's not about the YT video as such, but what or which image your computer and projector produces? Here's the thing: I'm interested in a sim-in-a-box from Foresight. I asked them what resolution the computer and the projector throw onto the white screen. They said it was HD and 4k would be an extra £7000. I would need a much better computer and a different projector, but these are not in the standard Sim-in-a-box. The price is so outrageous and I can't understand it. That's why I wanted to ask what quality you see on your screen in your studio.

Just got fsx play. Can't see the ball lie? What the heck? No uphill downhill side lies. ??? Only golf game sim ever to have only flat lies? Takes an element of fun away for sure

Any chance you know when they’ll bring a save settings to FSX play? We do a golf league during our winter months and it makes it much easier to setup the matches. Same with scramble mode?

Any ideas why I'm unable to see my golf ball when on the putting green with FSX play? My room configuration appears to be set correctly at around 9' from unit to screen, but when I'm putting or chipping, I do not see my ball as shown here. This causes issues with short putts inside 9' as the screen view is right up at the flag and I'm unable to see hole and green contour. By chance are you playing with your DZ set to 0 in the room configuration settings?

I never thought of playing with penalties off! That makes so much sense during practice. Jay, do you know if gspro has that option? Will be getting back into sim golf as temps drop.

Do the ocean and bird sounds dissappear after the first couple of shots as you play the course? I'm experiencing that.

What graphics card are you using for this? I have an RTX 2060 laptop that works well with FSX 2020 on full graphics. I'm concerned that if I upgrade to Play with this card I may have some performance issues.

I'm running a RTX3090. It beefy because I have 3 screens and recording for videos. My other sim in a box setup is fine running a 16:10 projector with a 1660ti. You can check it out in the video. Thanks for watching

@@tomhowarth6697 yes if you're running 1080 P I don't think you'll have any issue. It's all about making sure you have the right settings in nvidia as well.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos at the moment we can only play on the impact screen. I would like to use my projector and my TV at the same time. FSX 2020 does this no problem. FSX Play will also not work with the configuration tool.

@@markhiggs8512 That is what I am doing here. You just need to duplicate your two screens. I have my 4k touch screen and BenQ 936St 4k projector duplicated here that is how I am walking over and aiming, I am not looking back at the projector. Check out the settings again in windows and in FSX Play and you should be able to get it set the way you want.

Clayton, everyone can have their opinion, I welcome all the comments so thanks for sharing yours. I will saying that surprises me, most people say they are nice compared to what is in the market. But it goes back to that question I get all of the time "What is BEST software out there?" My answer is always watch all the videos because everyday someone is telling me why they like one more than the other :) Personal preference is what draws the line it seems.
