Back in the days of cel animation, there used to be specific types of vinyl or acrylic paint they would use that would allow for much quicker, full coverage, but most of those seem to have stopped production after digital coloring took over, and if they still make similar paints, they’re probably harder to find and more expensive.

Once saw a video of them in action 😍 it was so impressive how precise and quick they were! It's so sad that all of that skill and knowledge is being lost now! 💔 It was a heck of a process, but still so fascinating!

@@weronoyume it’s so beautiful!! Cool to see you trying this technique, maybe if it became a trend then the art form wouldn’t be as at risk of dying! I’m thinking of painting Sailor Saturn or Sailor Uranus!

I have always enjoyed acrylic paints but only recently I have fallen in love with acrylic gouache!

it looks gorgeous! very exciting to see your upcoming series about acrylic paint as well! i just wonder how you got the glass piece though,,, did you buy it or?

Oh I just bough a frame from IKEA and used the glass part of the frame to paint! It's probably not even real glass, but it worked well at the end 😆💕
