I miss being new to rl. Id recommend flakes old series from years ago.. he’s what made rl really click for me.. shows you how to win without mechanics

@@PO-sz7qw I agree flakes series is one of the best but it doesn’t hold up as well today, a lot of instachal and closing out on space. The fundamentals still work but once everyone started playing like flakes the meta changed to counter it

Honestly it doesn't matter much. What SSL's should do and what you should do are mostly different. All except positioning. Pay attention to where they are.

@lucasjsev hey, if you don’t do already, also look at lethamyr‘s road to ssl series. He plays through all the ranks and try’s to replicate how the skill is of those ranks. Explains a lot and it’s really helps new players :) have fun learning this game is very satisfying once you get it down somewhat ;)

Miss watching rocket league, had to quit the game entirely due to constant heavy car bug. Only feeling smooth every now and then after a GeForce and systems update. Used to be my obsession due to being 30+ and needing a hobby. Sad days

Watching other pros and youtubers, they all complain about the teammates never taking the blame, ESPECIALLY LETHAMYR. It's nice to see Jack speak from both sides when he messes up and teammates.

I'm currently GC2 in 2v2. I'm usually GC1. Is it just me or are GC2's really toxic? Every other game I seem to get a teammate where I have to be careful not to make them tilted. Even when there's plenty of time in the match and we're down a few goals they act toxic and forfeit really quickly. Even in 1v1 just now (I'm GC1 div 4, usually lower div) I first encountered the same GC2 twice and he was unnecessarily toxic.

All of GC is toxic, 1-3 and low SSL might be even worse. The closer they get to SSL the angrier they get at mistakes and if they hit SSL their ego goes to the moon. There's no winning with it, just gotta play the game and ignore.

In GC 2 the entire rank is perma-tilted. Don't worry about it too much. Just play your game and if the rest gets emotional it's not your problem.

because EU is already full of top players, whereas (arguably) NA isn't

@@lemickey4204 nah bro it's more nuanced than that lol. but if the top 4-8 teams in EU are all stacked and you don't think there's a spot for you as a good EU player, you may well be good enough to get into the US teams in like 4-8. plus i hear the US teams pay better.

@@lemickey4204 i'd say the top 8 teams in the world is 4 EU teams, 2 NA teams, 1 SAM team and 1 MENA team. outside of GenG and G2 the NA quality drops off, although personally I love OG.
