You beat the Johnny unblockable set up by poking as soon as he starts the swinging motion. The parry won't trigger once the attack begins. He can hold it longer to beat delay, jumping will get anti aired, and immediate armor loses to the parry.

Probably the reason why Peacemaker is nerfed so hard is because of the developers didn't want to see tournaments lack in character variaty

@@AbsurdTomfooleryhe’s definitely still arguably top 1, but only by a slim margin especially after his new nerfs to his shadow kick and parry. He’s really strong but he’s not braindead in the way peacemaker’s gameplay was. Khameleon is also a big reason why Johnny has felt more unbalanced than he should be because he’s both strong with her and strong against her. Nerfing her one more time and giving the rest of the main roster more buffs is the way to go.

@@ankleeater1721 lol what? Peacemaker was stupid broken yet half the players at final kombat played Johnny and the grand finals was Johnny vs Johnny. I don’t have a hard time playing against him online especially since I’m not playing the best players, but he is definitely still arguably the best even after all the nerfs. Kenshi is great and super dangerous when sento is out, but without sento, Kenshi isn’t that great. It’s what keeps him from being broken. Johnny on the other hand isn’t consistently great at all times and can punish things many characters can’t. That’s been toned down slightly after this latest patch so he’s more on a level playing field but he’s still very strong especially in a good players hands.

I played a lot with him the past hours and something about the inputs feels wrong now with peacemaker. All of his moves feel not as snappy anymore, not just the ones they nerfed.

Peacemaker needed to be nerfed. Guess well see if it was to much, but forcefield, sonicboom, torpedo, eagle looks almost braindead.

I rarely go against Peacemaker in Kasual or competitive, so I probably won't understand everyone's hatred towards the character (got a glimpse of it during the Final Kombat live stream), but I think they did a nerfed his a bit too heavy. They made him slow and sluggish, but on the bright side, at least Torpedo and Force Field won't be spammed.

Nah we needed a character like him or at least that force field. The ppl that play this will literally sit in a corner and just spam projectiles. No combos, or anything. Ppl hated him he couldn’t be zoned. I rarely come across him too but I alws win bc his counter was sub kameo. Other than torpedo, everything he had was literally beat by subzero and I go into punish

People are gonna have to go back to training mode and relearn Peacemaker. Doesn't mean he doesn't have damage anymore, he still hits hard but you gotta play more carefully.
