I cut them a little smaller maybe come crispy with the sauce and I put a little onion powder and garlic powder and they’re really good

It’s great that you let the kids try foods in different ways. Especially when you have a great garden of vegetables and herbs. You’re a beautiful mom with lots of love in your heart. The zucchini bites may not have been a big hit but the experiences you have with them are always going to be worth it. You’re kids are going to have wonderful memories of growing up and spending time with mom in the kitchen.

I think would probably be better as zucchini boats instead of bites. A little parmesan crisp in time would also help I think.

You need to pick the small ones with the flowers still on them batter and deep fry.,.,.

@@IndigoNili you can go the ther way and stuff the flowers with 8 kalamata olives halved, anchovies, 8 small basil leaves, 200g fresh ricotta.. check out the Taste web site Australia... I think you could even use the air fryer for this one? and G;day from Australia :)

I’m with some of your kids; not a fan of zucchini/squash, but that is still a good appetizer idea. Maybe they would have like it (better) if they were breaded (or with bread crumbs)?

You really need to place that air-fry basket onto the oven rack and place the drip pan at the bottom of the oven to catch drips…

I’m a HUGE zucchini fan and I love pizza so I’m in Nili and Jeff camp haha. Looks great to me!!! I will try with yellow squash too. Love them all. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the kids - Not a zucchini fan, but the rest looks good! I'd sub the zucchini with portabella mushrooms or something, but I don't think you are growing those in your garden! :-)

Thanks for another oven food function. Finding from the very beginning of your showing us this oven, that they need to improve the ability to slide that tray inside. I like the keto garden snack though. 👍. I have to go back to see if u dehydrated any fruit or veggies yet.

I love Renae’s reaction so much. I would get the same reaction around here - why ruin the pepperoni with the zucchini? Why is it there?? I happen to like zucchini. Many years ago I found a Moosewood Collective recipe for zucchini crusted pizza which was zucchini added to a real pizza crust. Once it’s topped no one can see the zucchini. I loved it. Hubby had no idea it was in there. Maybe you have a gluten free pizza crust recipe u can add them to?? Just salt them and squeeze dry and add to the crust??

It’s not pizza if it doesn’t have dough, sauce and cheese in my book. It should be called Zucchini bites. Why call it something it’s not? Nope not trying this one… I agree with the kids on zucchini…probably tastes like a mushy sponge with sauce and pepperoni…nope not PIZZA
