Michael is my favorite player on the show. Not many people play Xenos like the Necron and I love his dedication to his favorite unit (Watson) despite it not being an optimal choice. That’s exactly how I’d play with my army (if I could play this game). Fun trumps winning, that’s why I love Grey Knights and Necrons.

I literally just played my first game of Warhammer and won! It was a small 500points game, I was using my death guard ( my opponent his Astra Militarum), and during gameplay I couldn't help but to thinking if the Necrons might be better for what I want out of gameplay. This'll be the perfect match to help me decide!! Edit: Oh yea, It's thanks to your channel I became interested and hoped on board with the hobby, so thank you guys! I loved learning and I can't wait for many more games personally played, and watched here!😋

Its actually finnaly in 40min great job guys.

A few rules mistakes here and there but a fun watch regardless! For reference: 1) Techno-Cloak heals in the Movement phase, not Command Phase. Doesn't usually make a different as it tends to stick to one or two units anyway. In this case, as the LHD has 2W it would heal 1 for LM and then auto heal one from the Techno so there was no need to roll. 2) Whirling Onslaught makes you -1 to Wound, not Hit, although I think Steve just got them mixed up. It does *sound* like it should make you -1 to Hit. 3) TSK MAKES YOU FIGHT LAST! Could have made a difference.

That was actually the best game I’ve watched.

Letting you know when the Daemon Prince charged at 23:45, charges DO NOT ignore vertical distances, even if you have fly. They rolled a 9" on the charge, depending on the distance and the crate's height, it is looking like a risky 10" or something like that. Everyone seems to always forget that charges do not ignore vertical movement, lol. "If a unit’s datasheet has the FLY keyword, then when it makes a charge move, its models can be moved across other models (and their bases) as if they were not there, but they must move over terrain features (including BUILDING units) like any other model. A model that can FLY cannot finish any move on top of another model." - Core Rules, Flying when Charging. This means the Daemon prince, to move down, would need to move the distance of his base, and the height distance of the crate, THEN move within 1" of the models as well. Its very rough, and most likely a failed charge. This also applies to Mortarian, but TSK was within 1" of the edge of that building, meaning he did not have to move down to engage them. Kinda rough mechanic, but I see SO many channels do it wrong.

Mike, fellow Necron player here. Completely agree, we do not have great anti tank. Lokhust heavy destroyers is probably our best bet. The doomsday ark really is just a distraction when playing against experienced players.
