Pfff, wait 1-3 Month, they will change the inside so you pay the same price but the quality is lower. They did it with the ps3 slim! After tons of reviews shows how silent the console is, it gets 2 month after the console was released, a very cheap fan so the console was very loud.

It’s kind of crazy how much more the ps5 is well thought out in terms of parts placement. On the ps4 pro everything was stacked without too much thought on airflow in comparison too the ps5.

Have you noticed the airflow is designed like a PC's as well? When the PS5 is standing vertical, the cool air is pulled in from the front/top and hot air is exhausted out of the back while having the power supply at the bottom out of the way. The PSU shape is also designed to assist the exhaust escape out of the system.

I am very thankful that there is an official and public teardown video for this. It actually helped me decide to buy the PS4 Pro as I was not only interested in if the hard drive was kept easy to swap but also how easy it was to service if my warranty expired or was void for any reason. Also gave me a good idea of build quality and improvements over the original PS4. Ordered the pro shortly after seeing this.

@@samcast1676 yes, because it doesnt void your warranty when you change the hard drive. As long as you dont tinker with the actual insides of the console you'll be fine.

I wouldn’t say innovate but rather, more thought out in the placement of its parts and how focused they were on cooling and airflow around all parts of the system. The ps4 is more stacked and unplanned with airflow and cooling in comparison too the ps5.

The PS5 is incredibly simple to take apart compared to the PS4 pro. Nether look hard to take apart, but the PS5 can be stripped in a fraction of the time.

If u go to japan u will notice that east japanese looks really different from west japanese likewise for north and south ... some are hairy,some are not,some are fair,some are dark.

The overheating problem of this version was caused by the lack of contact between the memory chips underneath and the shielding plate, which would allow it to dissipate the heat. If you have this version and your console sounds like a jet engine, apply a thermal pad between the two metal plates underneath.

The fact they say "launch PS4" is something to keep in mind. Some of these improvements were already applied to the original PS4's later models.

The reason is that phones are like taken everywhere and a console usually just sits at the table and it makes them easy to repair and clean.

Thanks to this, managed to teardown my 6 year old PS4 Pro, clean it all up and apply some new thermal paste. Probably gave it a few more years of use. Great video!

Onyx XI i’m happy for you but i have a ps4 pro and i regret it, the noise is too loud for a console sounds like an airplane... And also i wish i bought a xbox one x instead of this fake 4k upscaled console. Xbox is native 4k and when you play it it doesn’t sound like a washing machine

Alessio Bucciantini I recommend opening it up and changing the thermal paste, theres gonna be a huge difference also while at it clean it up with compressed air and a toothbrush, put it in a well ventilated area and make sure it is put horizontally instead of vertically
