While there are many options out there, the official Sony Dual Charger and the PowerA Dual Charger are the two that are probably the most common. Just got the powerA one not even realizing it was PowerA and not the official charger dock, Bought it with a few games at Gamestop, They goofed and didn't charge me for the charging dock, i walked out of there with it costing me $0.00. Not bad for Free.99. Didn't realize it til I got home lol.

Had the same issue with the PowerA one and returned it. Seeems silly and easy to manipulate but i found it frustrating trying to line up the charging pins.

Got the song one yesterday l. It’s good, but the best charging station I’ve ever owned is one i have for my PS4. It came with thisi attachments that went into the PS4s micro usb. It then was able to be charged by simply dropping in into the charging station. Didn’t have to worry about aligning anything.

I bought the Power A one for 17$ and am loving it, don't see any problems or have any trouble getting my controller seated. Just take a second to make sure its seated correctly and your good!

I agree plus you connect it directly to a wall socket instead of the PS5 making it charge the controller a lot quicker!

Good video overall I really like what you mentioned about not plugging anything into the wall! before I hooked up my PS5 I made sure to buy plenty of surge protectors for my gaming consoles. I am using the charge base Charger Place For P5 and I have a cube adapter for the USB so my surge protector isn’t taking up no space at all. I own a PS3 as well as PS5 now, the one negative about the PS5 I did notice was the PS5 needs to be on at all times if you charge your controller from the system and for me I would not want to keep my system on just to charge the controller so having a charger base for your PS5 is a must have.

From what I can tell with the power A one that I just got is that at first, it was a struggle to get in but after just angling the controller straight down into the socket I didn’t really had much issues.

Only reason I just like a USB is it can update my controller and can switch remotes out when they die. So the kit doesn’t make sense to me but it’s badass

Think it’s because the PS5 controller lights turn orange which turn off when it’s fully charged.

The Power A Dual Charger IS an OFFICIALLY LICENSED PlayStation 5 product btw. Hence why they can legally have the PlayStation logo on the front. It's just not made by Sony themselves.

Yes. The official dualsense charging station will not over charge the controllers

@@jesusgurrola7062 yeah I got one the other day and noticed this. Plus you could tilt the controllers a little so they it's not charging as well which is nice. I ended up returning my PowerA one.
