You can. You have to go to settings on the actual ps5. Go to settings. Remote play. The power mode saving to do not turn off. Once you leave the house you should be ready to go

For initial setup and pairing yes you need to be on the same wifi or ethernet network

Unplug ur modem/router from wall socket, wait 30 seconds then plug back in and give it a minute to connect then try again. 👍

Why does my playstation seem to keep turning on fully. It beeps and powers on when i turn the portal on.. even tho the ps5 is in rest mode with enabled activies in rest mode turned on

@@vegetajp7 u have to have it on rest mode I work 18 miles from my house and I play the game at work with no problem but you gotta have a mobile hotspot or use the hotspot on your phone

Hi I was just wondering how long did it take for it to download the software ? My fiancée got me one for an early Christmas present today and I tried to set it up and it won’t go past 47 percent 😞 I restarted my router and the portal and it’s stuck on the download . I have fast internet so the upload speed shouldn’t be an issue but idk what else to do 😞Do you know how to fix this issue ?

@@ashtrdvhjhedd no I called Sony and they told me to return it where I got it or I can send it to them to fix but they never got back to with the email to send it to them so I just returned it 😞
